The Netherlands were represented at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest by 24 year old Hind Laroussi with the song "Your heart belongs to me" written by Hind herself. Hind performed the Dutch entry in the first Semi Final, however, unfortunately could not qualify the Netherlands for the Grand Final.

"Your heart belongs to me" received 27 points ranking the Netherlands at Number 13 in the first Semi Final when only the Top 10 go through into the Grand Final.
