Eurovision 2008 Interview with Elnur & Samir (Azerbaijan) |
The two debut countries at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest
were San Marino and Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan waited so long to join and now it
became reality when Elnur & Samir made a spectacular entrance into the
World of the Eurovision Song Contest for Azerbaijan with their Angel &
Devil performance. The song “D ay after Day” started of as Number 7 in Semi
Final 1 and then successfully could qualify Azerbaijan
for the Grand Final on the 24 May 2008 where Elnur & Samir received 132
points ranking Azerbaijan
8th in the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest. Not a bad result for a debut country!

& Samir after their first Press Conference for an interview. We would like
