Malta Hit Song Contest 2008. The first edition of the contest finished on Sunday, 06 July 2008 and Radio International featured the Top 2 songs on the show. The winner of the Malta Hit Song Contest 2008 is Miriam Christine with "Alone today". Miriam previously represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1996 when she reach Number 10 with "In a woman's heart". Young Jessica Muscat reach Number 2 with "Sweet Temptation". A big thanks to OGAE Malta's Deo Grech providing the information for Radio International. 

David "Bondy" Bond.  Radio International interviewed David Bond, co-host at the "English Breakfast " in Amsterdam. Bondy, as he is affectionately known as, talks about his live as an Expat in the Netherlands but also on his experience  having been through a brain tumour operation. Eurovision Song Contest Corner of Radio International:

During the show we are joined by Marcus Keppel-Palmer to take a look at Germany's participation at the Eurovision Song Contest as the runners up of the EURO2008 soccer championship. Marcus selected four songs from Germany that in some way have a connection to EURO2008 and explains why he chose those. There is our Eurovision Quiz which this week was won again by Linda McDonald from the United Kingdom and Marco from Belgrade., Serbia.  Linda already provided a quiz idea for next week. So watch out for this. There are many of  your music requests and joining us as from next week will be Chris Poppe who will alternate with Marcus. Chris will be taking a profile look at a previous Eurovision Song Contest Winner which listeners can guess. Welcolme on board Chris!

Colin Berry, the legendary voice from BBC Radio 2 in the UK now hosts a Saturday Radio Show on BBC Three Counties Radio including a Eurovision Spot. Colin Berry was the spokesperson for the British jury for over 20 years.
