This year Germany - as well one of the Big Four countries at the Eurovision Song Contest (France, Spain and the United Kingdom are the others - are automatically qualified for the Final) - was represented by the No Angels
at the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest. Their song "Disppear" only could score a total of 14 points thus ranking Germany at Number 23 in the Grand Final of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest.
