Iceland were represented at the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest by Euroband who consist of Friðrik Ómar and Regína Ósk, who together represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia. They performed the song "This Is My Life" in the second semi-final, on 22 May 2008 which won them a place in the final on May 24. They finished at Number 14 out of 25 in the Grand Final with 64 points.

 

Malcolm and JP had the pleasure in interviewing Euroband and also got them to sing Charlotte Nilsson's (now Perrelli)  "Take me to your heaven" (winning song of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999) as they are a band specialised in covering Eurovision songs of the past. What a funny moment - as Charlotte Perrelli was just being interviewed by another TV Team right next to us. Listen out for this during the interview. Enjoy.
