It is the 13th time that Poland participated at the Eurovision Song Contest. To select a song, Polish TV held a national preselection show including many different music styles and the artist and song selected is Isis Gee with “For Life” which started in Semi Final 1 on Tuesday, 20 May 2008 as Number 10.
