Hoorah!!! Christmas Week has
arrived and the Big Days are near. As every year at this time Radio
International sends the annual Eurovision Christmas Card to the
listeners and fans of the Eurovision Song Contest. Enjoy this week's
special Christmas themed show getting you into the right mood for the
Festive Season. The team of Radio International invites
you to
the weekly Ultimative Eurovision Experience. Apart from the means of FM Radio in the Netherlands on FM
106.8 and the
audio stream from the studio via www.radiointernational.tv, TUNEIN and on
Digital Cable 916 in the Netherlands, the show will
also be web-televised via our FACEBOOK GROUP PAGE from the studio and linking up the many international Eurovision fans and friends and play your requests and read your
messages out on air. The channel includes a Chat Room. Tell your friends to join in - SPREAD THE NEWS. Normally, the simulcast is from 2000 – 2300 hours CET
when Eurovision fans
can join in and chat amongst each other via the Chat Room and request
their favourite Eurovision entry. You can also use Twitter to be in touch

Interview with Nicole (Eurovision Winner 1982, Germany): The
annual Eurovision Convention of Eurovision Club Germany took place
recently in Cologne's Gloria Theatre in Germany with the participation
of three Eurovision performers of 2017: Norma John (Finland 2017),
Sunstroke Project (Moldova 2017) and Brendan Murray (Ireland 2017). In
addition, two Eurovision Winners were part of the guest lineup. Anne
Marie David who won the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 for Luxembourg,
although being from France with the song "Tu te reconnaitras". The
highlight of the show was Germany's first every Eurovision Winner from
1982 - Nicole - who with the song "Ein bisschen Frieden"
won the Eurovision Song Contest in Harrowgate in Germany back in 1982,
Radio International's JP had the big pleasure to meet all guests and
conduct interviews with artists. Over the next weeks you will hear these
interviews on Radio International starting in January 2018. Although
one is kept for a special Christmas present to the fans and that is the
interview with Nicole which will be broadcast on the show this week. The
second hour of the show is primarily devoted to the Eurovision Winner
and some of her music from the days back when... :) Enjoy this special.
Eurovision Spotlight - Portugal's History in the Eurovision Song Contest:
Portugal for the very first time won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017
in Kyiv, Ukraine last May with Salvador Sobral. As a result Portugal
will be hosting Eurovision 2018 on May 08, 10 an 12. It is a tradition
that Radio International takes a look at the history of the the host
country of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Our Eurovision
experts in the UK and Ireland will each talk about the
Portugal's great Eurovision entries over the years. Listen to Dermot Manning and Alasdair Rendall closing out this particular series. It
will be nice to hear some long forgotten Portuguese classics again on
the show this and next week. The new series will of course focus on the
National Final Season to the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
Localitour d'Autore with Jalisse: Jalisse represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 reaching Number 4 with "Fiumi di parole". Meanwhile Jalisse (Fabio and Alessandra) have been busy with many projects and new music plus supporting young talented artists as well as hosting their own radio show. Eurovision Birthday File: Adding something new to the show each
and every week as from now is the Eurovision Birthday File brought to
you by Sir David Mann from Studio 3 in London looking at the birthdays
of Eurovision personalities over the past and coming days. Of course you
will be hearing also the music of the Eurovision Birthday Kids.
Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

Upcoming Events - Highlights:
Eurovision Quiz: Scratch your heads and bite your
nails at our weekly Eurovision Song Contest Quiz. Good luck and win a
copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the
Eurovision Goodies Bag. All you
have to do
is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send
your answers via the website's CONTACTs
form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate
in the quiz and the draw for the prize. Good Luck! Next week the quiz returns to the show.
The Eurovision Quiz will be discontinued
until early January when the the show returns to the normal formal from
Studio 1 in the Netherlands.

Team of Radio International would also take this opportunity to wish our
listeners and faithful fans and their families, the Eurovision

Christmas and a Happy New Year 2018 with the hope of a better year than
2017 was for many. Radio International will continue also in 2018 with
52 more editions of the show going into the show's 20th Anniversary next
November. On the final show of 2017 Radio International will have
something special again for the Eurovision fans and that is the
Eurovision Champion Chart of 2017 - the songs the fans have been voting
for via the facebook page "Eurovision Champions". It is a very exciting
Chart not to be misse on Radio International on 27 December 2017. On the
first show of 2018 on 03 January 2018 Radio International will be there
with your Eurovision and New Year's Hangover Cure. The more music
