Eurovision 2007 Interview - DJ BoBo (Switzerland) |
 The team of Radio International had the pleasure in talking
to Superstar DJ BoBo, alias Rene Baumann, who
entered the song “ Vampires are alive” for Switzerland at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest. Unfortunately,
Switzerland did not receive enough points to qualify for the Final of the 52nd
Eurovision Song Contest which was staged in Helsinki’s Hartwall Arena in
Finland on 12 May 2007. The song received a total of 40 points ranking Switzerland at Number 20 in the Semi Final.
DJ BoBo is also known for a string of great dance hits throughout the 90s and 00s. Hits such as Somebody dance with me, Everybody, There is a party, Celebrate, What a feeling (with Irene Cara), Chihuahua, etc.
