Hightlights of the show  Eurovision Song Contest 2017 - Preview Events: The National
Final Season for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 is over and now
various countries offer the Eurovision Pre-view events such as
Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam, London Preview Event, Israel Calling
and also the Riga Eurovision Party. On Sunday, 02 April 2017 was the London Eurovision Preview Event in the United Kingdom and Radio International's David Mann and JP were on location and conducted interviews with the
artists representing their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017
in Kiev, Ukraine come May. Listen to these interviews on the show this
week.
 Interview with Omar Naber (Slovenia 2005 and 2017): Already back in 2005 Omar Naber represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest also in Kiev with the song "Stop" that reached Number 12 in the Semi Final. In 2017, Omar won again the EMA which is the Slovenian National Final selecting the song that will represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest. The song for 2017 is called "On my way" and will be in Semi Final 1 Song 17 on Tuesday, 09 May 2017. At the recent and 10h edition of the London Eurovision Preview Event JP again met Omar and chatted with the singer which you can hear this interview on

who won the Polish National Final and the right to represent Poland at
the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev with the song "Flashlight" in
Semi Final 1 as song Number 11 on Tuesday, 09 May 2017. JP and David Mann of Radio International talked to the Polish music ambassadors during the London Eurovision Preview Event's Press Meeting on Sunday 02 April 2017. Listen to this

 Interview with Slavko Kalezic (Montenegro 2017): Highway and "The Real Thing" Montenegro's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 only reaching Number 13 in Semi Final 1 and with that failing to qualify for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. Montenegro's Musical Ambassador to the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 is Slavko Kalezic who will be performing the song "Space" in Seminal 1 as song 6.  }Interview with Kristian Kostov (Bulgaria 2017): After the huge success of Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with Poli Genova and "If love was a crime" reaching an amazing Number 4 in Stockholm last year, Bulgaria sends in 17 year old Kristian Kostov to represent his country with the song "Beautiful Mess" which will be performed in Semi Final 2 at song Number 16. Kristian was also part of the London Preview Event 2017 on 02 April 2017 and JP chatted with probably the youngest singer at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.  Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision 2017 by Regions:
The National Selection Season to the Eurovision Song Contest 2017
is over and as from this week until the event in May the Radio
International Experts take a look at the songs again but by regions live
on Radio International. This week Alasdair Rendall starts with
taking a look at the "wide" WEST of Europe and the songs going into the
race in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 which will take place in
Ukraine's capital Kiev on 09 May 2017 for Semi Final 1, 11 May 2017 for
Semi Final 2 and the Grand Final on Saturday, 13 May 2017 from Kiev's
International Exhibition Centre when 43 countries are battling it out
for the trophy and the right to host Eurovision 2018.  Eurovision Under Cover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.
 Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins
the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest
such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision
performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.

 New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send

form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate
