Hightlights of the show

ImageInterview with Panetoz (Melodifestivalen 2016):  Looking back at 2016 and the biggest national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest is Melodifestivalen. Eric and JP from Radio International are always on location chatting and interviewing the participating artists who are trying to obtain the ticket for the Eurovision Song Contest. PANETOZ is a multinational group of singers and dancers who initially took part in Meldofiestivalen in Sweden back in 2014 with the song "Efter solsken" (After sunshine) which came 9th in the Final. Then two years on PANETOZ returned to Melodifestivalen where in March of 2016 they also made it to the Final of Melodifestivalen with the song "Håll Om Mig Hårt" that came 8th. Radio International's Eric and JP met the crazy bunch from PANETOZ at the Welcome Reception as well as after the dress rehearsal of Melodifestivalen Final 2016 and chatted with the guys.  Listen to it on Radio International this week.  You can also watch this interview on our YouTube Channel - click here.

Image Interview with Lisa Ajax. In 2014, Lisa Ajax made it to the Swedish Idol finals inside the Stockholm Globe Arena. She won the Idol finals ahead of runner-up Mollie Lindén. Lisa also participated at Lilla Melodifestivalen 2012 with the song "Allt som jag har" and also she participated in Melodifestivalen 2016 with the song "My Heart Wants Me Dead", and qualified to the finals at Friends Arena. She placed 7th in the final which was won by Frans with "If I were sorry". Lisa will be participating again at Melodifestivalen 2017 with the song "I Don't Give A".  Eric and JP met the singer at the Welcome Reception of Melodifestivalen 2016 in Stockholm's legendary Town Hall.  Listen to this interview on this week's edition of Radio International.  You can also watch this interview on our YouTube Channel - click here.

ImageEurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The National Final Season 2017: The National Selection Process of the songs that will represent their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 is well underway. In the last quarter of 2016 Radio International went through the Eurovision entries of the Ukraine as Ukraine will be hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev May 09, 11 and the Grand Final on May 13 following Jamala's victory in Stockholm last May with the song "1944". Like in previous years the Radio International Eurovision Experts will be assessing the National Finals 2017 live on Radio International. Alasdair Rendall continues with the new series taking a look at the National Finals.

Image The Eurovision Champion Chart - Israel:  The Eurovision Champion Chart is produced by Craig Mitchell Johnstone in conjunction with the Face Book Group called "Eurovision Champions". On selected Shows Eurovision Radio International produces various one hour shows with the music of the Eurovision Champion Chart as voted for by the fans of Eurovision. The Eurovision Champion this week runs down the entries from Israel to the Eurovision Song Contest in the order how the fans voted for the songs. What is the best song from Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest? Find out this week on the show.  If you have any particular year or country that you would like to hear throughout the summer months on Radio International please contact Radio International via CONTACT and let us know. Due to many music requests during the show the scheduled Chamption Chart is postponed to next week. 

ImageEurovision Under Cover:  This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.

ImageEurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics such as viewing figures in the various countries and more. Nathan is website editor with escxtra.com. ImageNew Song Releases by Eurovision Artists Radio International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs which are being featured on the show.

ImageEurovision Quiz:  Scratch your heads and bite your nails at  our weekly Eurovision Song Contest Quiz. Good luck and win a copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the Eurovision Goodies Bag. All you have to do is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send your answers via the website's CONTACTs form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate in the quiz and the draw for the prize. Good Luck!
