Hightlights of the show
Interview with Krista Siegfrieds (Finland 2013): Finland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 by the bubbly Krista Siegfrids and the girls performing the song " Marry Me"
which came 24th in Malmoe, Sweden. Taking part in the Eurovision Song
Contest paved the way for Krista's media and singing career as she also
has been hosting the Finish National Final, competing in Sweden's
Melodifestivalen 2016 as well as releasing new material and been
attending various national Eurovision Conventions. JP of Radio
International met Krista again at the recent OGAE UK's EUROBASH in
Manchester on 01 Oct 2016 and had the pleasure of a quick update from
Krista regarding her singing career and new material. Enjoy the chat on

Interview with Sebastian Calleja (Winner of the OGAEvision Song Contest 2016, Malta): Big
part of the Eurovision Weekend 2016 in Berlin was the first OGAEvision
Song Contest which contained singers from 12 countries that competed for
the trophy covering a Eurovision song. The quality was of very high
standard and the contest was won by 18 year old Sebastian Calleja from sunny Malta who performed his cover of the Israeli Eurovision entry from 2015 by Nadav Guedj " Golden Boy".
The prize was also that Sebastian will perform in front of 1700 plus
audience on the Eurovision Cruise Helsiki to Tallin on 03 September 2016
organised by OGAE Finland. Radio International's JP also went to the
Eurovision Cruise 2016 and caught up with Sebastian after his
performance aboard the Baltic Queen. You can hear the interview on this

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016: The 14th annual Junior
Eurovision Song Contest 2016 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 20
November 2016 at 1600 hours from the Mediterranean Conference Centre in
Valetta, Malta when young artists from 17 countries will be singing
their song in this pan-european music event. Detailed information is on

Radio International always has been supporting this event and will also
continue in 2016. Listen to some of the Junior Eurovision Highlights as
well the currentJunior Eurovision songs on Radio International. The
Team will be off to sunny Malta for the event to bring you interviews
with the young artists.
Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight XXXL - Modern Talking and Dieter Bohlen's Involvement into the Eurovision Song Contest:
Marcus Keppel-Palmer from BBC Radio Bristol joined JP in the studio for
a rather special edition of the Eurovision Spotlight taking a look at
the music genius from Germany - Dieter Bohlen who was 50% of Modern
Talking in the 80s and 90s but also produced and wrote many songs for
other artists such as Bonnie Tyler, El Martino, Errol Brown of Hot
Chocolate. Dieter Bohlen also wrote some entries for the Eurovision Song
Contest for Germany as well for Austria. The entire third hour is
devoted to the music of Dieter Bohlen and Marcus will be chatting about
his experience meeting and working together with the one and only Dieter
Bohlen.
Eurovision Under Cover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. This week there are two editions of
the Eurovision Cover Spot since one of the biggest BBC Radio 2
broadcasters of our time passed away earlier this week in his 90s - Sir
Jimmy Young. David Mann from Radio International's Studio 3 in London
joins JP on the show for the Tribute Eurovision Cover Spot.
Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins
the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest
such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision
performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.

New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate
