Interview with Ruslana (Eurovision Winner 2004, Ukraine):
Ukraine debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and the year
after in 2004 they won with the "Wild Dances" by Ruslana. It all
happened in Istanbul Turkey. Some 12 years later the Ukraine won the
Eurovision Song Contest for a second time when earlier on in May 2016
Jamala celebrated victory with her song "1944" in Stockholm, Sweden.
Ruslana has been involved in many political activities in Ukraine and
also been on may TV shows being a judge in many national finals to the
Eurovision Song Contest. In October 2015 she was invited to OGAE
Luxembourg's Eurovision Gala where JP had the pleasure to catch up with
Rusland which you can hear on this week's edition of Radio
International.

Interview with Aron Promnitz (OGAEvision Song Contest 2016, Sweden): At the recent edition fo the Eurovision Weekend 2016 in Berlin a new song contest was inaugerated being the first OGAEvision Song Contest which contained singers from 12 countries that competed for the trophy covering a Eurovision song. The quality was of very high standard and the contest was won by 18 year old Sebastian Calleja from sunny Malta who performed his cover of the Israeli Eurovision entry from 2015 by Nadav Guedj "Golden Boy". This week JP will be chatting with the representative from Sweden - Aron Promnitz who took part with the cover of the 2015 Eurovision winning entry of Sweden "Heroes" performed by Mans Zelmerloew. Listen to an interview with Aron done in Berlin when JP chatted with the singer from Sweden. The Eurovision Champion Chart - 1986: The Eurovision Champion Chart continues this week and the entire third hour of the show is devoted to looking at the Eurovision Song Contest of 1986 as requested by Robert Wahlstroem from Gothenburg in Sweden. JP will be running through the ranking of the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 that came from Bergen in Norway and highlights the specialties of the particular song contest. International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

Eurovision Quiz: Scratch your heads and bite your
nails at our weekly Eurovision Song Contest Quiz. Good luck and win a
copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the
Eurovision Goodies Bag. All you
have to do
is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send
your answers via the website's CONTACTs
form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate
