Interview with Ovidiu Anton (Romania 2016 but did not take part): After four attempts Ovidiu Anton finally won the Romanian National Final to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Moment of Silence". Unfortunately, as well for Ovi, Romanian broadcaster TVR had not paid the EBU Membershio fees for many years amounting into various millions of EUROs. Hence, the EBU decided to dismiss Romania not only from being a member country of the EBU but also not to let Romania take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. Radio International's David Mann met Ovidiu at a Eurovision event earlier on in 2016 before it was announced that Romania cannot take part anylonger due to the large amount of debt to the EBU. Interview with Jan Vehar (OGAEvision Song Contest 2016):  At the recent edition fo the Eurovision Weekend 2016 in Berlin a new song contest was inaugerated being the first OGAEvision Song Contest which contained singers from 12 countries that competed for the trophy covering a Eurovision song. The quality was of very high standard and the contest was won by 18 year old Sebastian Calleja from sunny Malta who performed his cover of the Israeli Eurovision entry from 2015 by Nadav Guedj "Golden Boy". Radio International chatted with Sebastion on last week's edition of Radio International. This week it will be the representative from Slovenia - Jan Vehar who took part with the cover of the 2016 entry of Slovenia to the Eurovision Song Contest called "Blue and Red" performed by ManuElla.
