Interview with Sandra Reemer (Netherlands 1972, 1976, 1979 and 1983):
Most of the show this week will be devoted to the 5th edition of the
Eurovision Weekend Berlin which happened last weekend in the city centre
of Berlin, Germany. This year the partnering country were the
Netherlands and the organisers invited two huge Eurovision stars from
the Netherlands out of which one was Sandra Reemer who
represented the Netherlands three times at the Eurovision Song Contest.
In 1972 with "Als het om de liefte gaat" with Andres coming fourth. Then in 1976 Sandra represented the Kingdom of the Netherlands with "The Party is over now" coming nineth and in 1979 she reached Number 12 with "Colorado" as Xandra. In 1983, Sandra Reemer was the backing vocalist when Bernadette represented the Netherlands with the song "Sing me a song"
that reached Number 7 in Munich, Germany. Sandra was also a member of
the Dutch Divas which as a trio enjoyed successes together with Maggie
McNeal (1980) and Marga Bult (Marcha, 1987). She also hosted the Dutch
version of "Do you want to bet" on Dutch TV. Radio
International's Eric had the pleasure to meet and interview the singer which you can hear on this week's edition of

Stockholm, Sweden. We know that Jamie-Lee won this national final and
represented Germany with the song called "Ghost" coming last at the end of the voting. Laura Pinski, of Polish origin, was competing in this German national final and reached Number 4 with a Ralph Siegel composition called "Under the sun we are one".
