Hightlights of the show Eurovision Song Contest 2016:
The Eurovision Song Contest 2016 is over and the best ever Eurovision
Song Contest was staged in the Globen Arena with two Semi Finals and a
Grand Final which was held on Saturday 14 May 2016. The 61st Eurovision
Song Contest was won by Ukraine's Jamala with the song "1944".
Many fans of the Eurovision Song Contest fall into a deep Post
Eurovision Depression as it all is over and the fans part company until
the next year. Radio International is the perfect Post Eurovision
Depression Cure reflecting on the past contest with interviews and

Eurovision Weekend in Berlin 2016: The
Eurovision Weekend in Berlin takes place from Friday 15 - Sunday 27
July 2016. The event is partnered with OGAE Netherlands and OGAE Germany and international fans
are more then welcome to attend. On the guest list is Sandra Reemer who represented the Netherlands three times (1972, 1976 and 1979) and was backing vocalist in 1983. Further there is Esther Hart who represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and also on the guest list is Zoe who represented as Fans' Favourite Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. From the German side Laura Pinski will be performing her song from the German National Final 2016 which was won by Jamie-Lee. Details of the event and how to get tickets are available here.
Eurovision Spotlight XXL - Male Duets at the Eurovision Song Contest: This
is the first of the Radio International summer specials and Marcus
Keppel-Palmer returns to the airwaves of Radio International with a
special Eurovision Spotlight taking a look at the Male Duets at the
Eurovision Song Contest. There are many so the entire third hour of the
show is dedicated to the Male Duets but also the regular Eurovision
Spotlight Spot in the Second Hour will be featuring the first lot.
Looking forward to hear Marcus back on the air of Radio International.
Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The Dreaded Number 2 Position:
Through the Summer 2016 the Radio International's Eurovision Experts
came up with the idea to take a look at the dreaded starting position of
the Euroision Song Contest from where no country ever won the
Eurovision Song Contest. Due to a rather special edition of this week's
Eurovison Spotlight with Marcus looking at the Male Duets at the
Eurovision Song Contest the current series returns next week with Dermot Manning as the series continues and
you will be hearing some nice Eurovision oldies as well in this near
Eurovision Spotlight. Enjoy the new Radio International Summer series.
Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins
the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest
such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision
performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.

New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate
