The Eurovision Song Contest 2016 is over and the best ever Eurovision
Song Contest was staged in the Globen Arena with two Semi Finals and a
Grand Final which was held on Saturday 14 May 2016. The 61st Eurovision
Song Contest was won by Ukraine's Jamala with the song "1944".
Many fans of the Eurovision Song Contest fall into a deep Post
Eurovision Depression as it all is over and the fans part company until

The Eurovision Song Contest 2016 Top 26: During this week's edition of the show JP runs down the Eurovision 2016 Chart as shown on the big Scoreboard on Saturday night the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. Listen to JP playing clips of all the songs in the order how they ranked at the end of the voting.
Interview with Jamala (Eurovision 2016 Winner, Ukraine): At the
end of a new and very exciting voting presentation hosted by last year's
Eurovision Winner Mans Zelmerloew and Petra Mede the thrill was there
till the last moment when Ukraine was announced as the winner of the
Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with a total of 534 points for the song "1944" performed by Jamala.
Prior the Grand Final Eric chatted with the singer from Ukraine which
you can hear on this week's edition of Radio International.
Interview with Dami Im (Australia 2016): In 2015 Australia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest with Guy Sebastian performing "Tonight again"coming 5th in Vienna. This year Dami Im bettered that result in becoming the Runner Up of the the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Sound of Silence" being the favourite of the Juries receiving 511 points. Interview with Sergey Lazarev (Russia 2016): With the best stage show and the favourite of the Televoting Russia's Sergey Lazarev reach third place at the end of the voting of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 receiving 491 points for the song "You are the only one".

Interview with Poli Genova (Bulgaria 2016): The best ever placed result for Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest as Poli Genova with the song "If love was a crime"
came fourth at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with a total of 307
points. Having interviewed Poli at the preview events Radio
International had the pleasure to catch up with the charming and ever
smiling singer from Bulgaria who also hosted the Junior Eurovision Song

Interview with Amir (France 2016): A very charismatic singer
France sent into the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 who was also tipped to
be the winner of the 61st Eurovision Song Contest. Unfortunately, it
did not work out this time. Amir represented France with the song "J'ai cherche"
came 6th in the Grand Final on Saturday 14 May 2016. Radio
International's JP had the pleasure to chat with Amir after his first
rehearsal.

Interview with Mans Zelmerloew and Petra Mede (Hosts of Eurovision 2016): Just before the Dress Rehearsals kicked in a Press Conference was held with the participation of the Hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 - Petra Mede and last year's Eurovision Winner Mans Zelmerloew. Eurovision Under Cover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send

form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate
in the quiz and the draw for the prize. Good Luck! Due
to the busy show this week the Eurovision Quiz will return end of May 2016. Then
also the outstanding draws will be done.
