Eurovision Interview - Nicki French (United Kingdom 2000) |
 The British Eurovision Club, OGAE UK
organised their annual Eurovision Convention on Saturday, 06 October 2007 in Jury’s Inn in the centre of Birmingham. The event received the name Birmingham Bash II and invited amongst
the guests John Kennedy O’Conner who wrote the Official History of the
Eurovision Song Contest, Paddy O’Connell who does the commentary during the
Semi Final of the Eurovision Song Contest on BBC3, Daz Sampson who represented
the UK in 2006 with his song “Teenage Life” – and also the UK’s representative of the 2000
Eurovision Song Contest – Nicki French who in 2000 sang “Don’t play that song
again” which reached Number 16 with 28 points. JP had the chance to meet Nicki
