Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015: This week's edition of Radio International devotes most of it's content to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 which was staged in Sofia's Arena Armeec in Bulgaria on 21 November 2015. 17 countries took part in the music competition for children including newcomers Australia and Ireland. The complete list of the 17 countries are: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, FYRO Macedonia, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, The Netherlands and Ukraine. This year's theme song of the event is "#Discover" sung by last year's Bulgarian representative Krisia. Consult the offical event's website Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 for all the latest news and the results concerning the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 and also you will also find all detailed information about the young artists. Interiew with The Virus (Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, Georgia):  As every year Georgia sends in an act from the stables of the Bzikebistudio and this year was no exception as the Georgian representatives to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 were The Virus performing the song "Gabede" (Dare) which received a total of 51 points and with this ranking at Number 10 at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015. So far Georgia won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest twice namely in 2008 when the Wasps Bzikebi won with "Bzzzzz" and then in 2011 when Candy won with "Candy Music".  JP and David met the group and were greated and farewelled with  huge hug by all the singers at once. :). Interiew with Aimee Banks (Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, Ireland):  Besides Australia, Ireland also debuted at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with 13 year old Aimee Banks representing Ireland with the song "Realta Na Mara" (Stars of the Sea) which came 12th at the end of the exciting voting as we now know has been won by Destiny from Malta with the song "Not my soul". She received a total of 36 points and Aimee went through an amazing selection process in Ireland hosted by Irish language TV Station TG4 over five weeks. A real hype was created in Ireland and let's hope we see Ireland back at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016.  You can also watch this interview on our YouTube Channel - click here

Interview with Jana Mirkovic (Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, Montenegro): Great to see Montenegro back at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with Jana Mirkovic who performed "Oluja" which received a total of 36 points and with this ranking at Number 13 at the end of the voting on 21 November 2015. Interview with Ivana and Magdalena (Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, FYRO Macedonia):  Macedonia was represented by girl friends Ivana and Magdalena at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Sofia, Bulgaria with the song "Pletenka" which translates to "The Braid of Love" and reached a total of 26 points thus ranking Macedonia at Number 17 at the end of the voting. David and JP had the pleasure to speak with the two young singing ladies during the rehearsal week in Sofia. Interview with SINPLUS (Switzerland 2012): Also part of the massive guest lineup at the Eurovision Galanight 2015 organised by OGAE Luxembourg were the brothers Gabriel and Iwan collectively known as SINPLUS who represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Their entry "Unbreakable", unfortunately, only reached Number 11 in the Semi Final failing to qualify Switzerland for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 however a fantastic performance of the SINPLUS. How has their career been shaping up since 2012. JP chatted with the singers about their time at and after Eurovision and their upcoming future music projects. Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The Best of Melodifestivalen:  With the victory of Mans Zelmerloew in Vienna winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Heroes" the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 will be stage in Stockholm's Globen Arena in Sweden next May. Without doubt Swedish Television produces the biggest National Final there is to select the song that represents Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest filling large halls across the country in the stages of Melodifestivalen - sometimes even bigger than the Eurovision Song Contest itself. In view of the upcoming event in Stockholm the team of Radio International looks back at some of the greatest songs that emerged from the Melodifestivalen over the years. The series continues this week with Chris Poppe who takes a look at Melodifestivalen 2013.

Eurovision UnderCover:  This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. 

Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists:  Radio International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs which are being featured on the show.

Eurovision Quiz:  Scratch your heads and bite your nails at  our weekly Eurovision Song Contest Quiz. Good luck and win a copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the Eurovision Goodies Bag. All you have to do is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send your answers via the website's CONTACTs form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate in the quiz and the draw for the prize. Good Luck!
