Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015: This week is a
rather special edition of Radio
International as members of the Team are Sofia, Bulgaria - the Home of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015. The 13th and
2015 edition
of the
Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be staged in Sofia, Bulgaria on 22 November 2015
from the Arena Armeec where 17 countries have confirmed
participation in the music competition for children including newcomers
Australia and Ireland. The complete list of the 17 countries are: Albania,
Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, FYRO Macedonia, Georgia,
Ireland, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, Russia, San Marino, Serbia,
Slovenia, The Netherlands and Ukraine. This year's theme song
of the event is "#Discover" sung by last year's Bulgarian

young
artists. JP and David of Radio International will be present at
the event and conduct interviews with the young artists which you can

This week's show also comes from Sofia with JP and David introducing all the 17 songs and give you background information on the artists but also on the event. In addition, JP and David take you down Memory Lane of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest by playing you some of the highlights of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest past and present. Interview with Vincenzo Cantiello (Junior Eurovision Winner 2014, Italy): In 2014 Italy debuted at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and also won it with Vincenzo Cantiello and the song "Tu primo grande amore".
During the show this week Radio International is delighted to broadcast
an interview with the young winner. Earlier on in May of 2015, Vincenzo
came to the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna "Building the Bridge"
between Junior Eurovision and the Eurovision Song Contest. On this
week's special edition listen to the interview we did with Vincenzo.
