Live Interview with Cheryl Baker of Bucks Fizz and Coco (United Kingdom 1981 and 1978): Radio International is extremely happy to have 25% of the winning act of the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 = Bucks Fizz (United Kingdom 1981) and also member the UK's 1978 Eurovision Song Contest entry = Coco, on the show - Cheryl Baker. In 1978 Cheryl represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest as part of the group Coco with the song "The Bad old days" which came 11th. Then in 1981 Cheryl, Jay, Mike and Bobby were found and Bucks Fizz were especially formed for the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 and then won the Contest with the song "Making your mind up".
The success did not stop with the UK's victory in Dublin in 1981 as
Bucks Fizz went on with a number of strong hit releases and albums until
1986. Lately, members of Bucks Fizz got back together and are regularly
touring and performing their string of great hits. A big thank you to Cheryl Baker for giving Radio International a great interview including newest member of the team Bobby McVay who represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 1983 as part of Sweet Dreamsc with the song "I'm never giving up" coming 6th.

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015: Europe and Australia is fast approaching the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 which will be staged in Sofia, Bulgaria on 22 November 2015
from the Arena Armeec where so far 17 countries have confirmed
participation in the music competition for children including newcomers
Australia and Ireland. Editor in Chief of Eurovision Ireland Garrett Mulhall will
be joining Radio International on a weekly basis to update the
listeners on the progress in the Irish selection process for the Junior
Eurovision Song Contest 2015 as well as the overall JESC progress. A
former Eurovision Winner as well as two times participant at the
Eurovision Song Contest is involved - Niamh Kavanagh. The official

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The Best of Melodifestivalen: With the victory of Mans Zelmerloew in Vienna winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Heroes"
the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 will be stage in Stockholm's Globen
Arena in Sweden next May. Without doubt Swedish Television produces the
biggest National Final there is to select the song that represents
Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest filling large halls across the
country in the stages of Melodifestivalen - sometimes even bigger than
the Eurovision Song Contest itself. In view of the upcoming event in
Stockholm the team of Radio International looks back at some of the
greatest songs that emerged from the Melodifestivalen over the years.
The series starts this week with Marcus Keppel-Palmer who takes a look at Melodifestivalen 2011.
Eurovision UnderCover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins
the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest
such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision
performers, special

such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.

International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
