 Interview with Sonia (United Kingdom 1993): OGAE Finland's annual
Eurovision Cruise took place on 05 September 2015 on board of the
Baltic Queen crossing from Helsinki to Tallin, Estonia. Way over 2000
international Eurovision fans on board celebrated a great time together
with the invited artists Sanna Nielsen (Sweden 2014), Sonia (United Kingdom 1993) and Ivi Adamou (Cyprus
2012). Lilian, Roger and JP from Radio International had the pleasure
to meet the artists after their performance for a quick chat. This week
listen to the interview with Sonia who in 1993 represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Better the devil you know" which came second to Ireland's Niamh Kavanagh who won the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 for Ireland with the song "In your eyes".
Sonia also had a string of big hits in the 90s mainly produced by the
Hitfactory of Stock, Aitkin and Waterman. Enjoy this interview on this

 Interview with Ivi Adamou (Cyprus 2012): Also guest at the Eurovision Cruise 2015 organised by OGAE Finland was Ivi Adamou who represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku with the song "La La Love"
which came 15th. Of course Ivi also performed her Eurovision entry as
part of the Mini Concert on the Baltic Queen after which Lilan, Roger
and JP from Radio International also had the pleasure to meet and
interview the young singer on her time in Baku and her career
development after the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. Enjoy listening to

 Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015: Europe and Australia is fast approaching the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 which will be staged in Sofia, Bulgaria on 22 November 2015
from the Arena Armeec where so far 17 countries have confirmed
participation in the music competition for children including newcomers
Australia and Ireland. Editor in Chief of Eurovision Ireland Garrett Mulhall will
be joining Radio International on a weekly basis to update the
listeners on the progress in the Irish selection process for the Junior
Eurovision Song Contest 2015 as well as the overall JESC progress. A
former Eurovision Winner as well as two times participant at the
Eurovision Song Contest is involved - Niamh Kavanagh. The official

 Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The Best of Melodifestivalen: With the victory of Mans Zelmerloew in Vienna winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Heroes"
the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 will be stage in Stockholm's Globen
Arena in Sweden next May. Without doubt Swedish Television produces the
biggest National Final there is to select the song that represents
Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest filling large halls across the
country in the stages of Melodifestivalen - sometimes even bigger than
the Eurovision Song Contest itself. In view of the upcoming event in
Stockholm the team of Radio International looks back at some of the
greatest songs that emerged from the Melodifestivalen over the years.
The series continues this week with Dermot Manning who takes a look at Melodifestivalen 2001.
 Eurovision UnderCover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.  Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins
the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest
such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision
performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.

International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs

is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send
your answers via the website's CONTACTs
form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate
