Interview with Hera Bjoerk (Iceland 2010): OGAE Portugal in
collaboration with the Municipality of Setubal in Portugal held their
annual Eurovision Live Concert 2015 in the Luisa Todi Forum on Setubal
on 12 September 2015 with a great line up of artists from the national
and international Eurovision music scene who stood on the stage of the
Eurovision Song Contest or took part in the national finals. JP went to
Setubal and had the pleasure to meet and chat with some of the singers.
This week we start with Hera Bjoerk who in 2010 represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest witht he song "Je ne sais quoi" coming 19th in Oslo. The year before she tried her luck in the Danish National Final with the song "Someday"
which became the runner up to Brinck who in 2009 represented Denmark at
the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow where Hera was backing vocalist
for Yohanna on "Is it true" which came 2nd to Alexander Rybak's
Fairytake from Norway. JP caught up with Hera on her time in Southern
America and upcoming events in her career. The interview was done in the
Luisa Todo Forum of Setubal right after the show. Enjoy listening to

Interview with the Twiins (Slovakia 2011): Also invited to the Eurovision Live Concert 2015 were the Twiins from Slovakia who represented their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "I'm still alive"
that unfortunately failed to qualify Slovakia to the Grand Final. The
song ranked at Number 13 in Semi Final 2 in Duesseldorf. Nevertheless,
Veronika and Daniela were great Ambassadors for their country and
achieved the best result for Slovakia since the country returned to the
Eurovision Song Contest. At the aftershow part of Eurovision Live
Concert 2015 JP chatted with the Twiins. Listen to the interview on this

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015: Europe and Australia is fast approaching the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 which will be staged in Sofia, Bulgaria on 22 November 2015
from the Arena Armeec where so far 17 countries have confirmed
participation in the music competition for children including newcomers
Australia and Ireland. Editor in Chief of Eurovision Ireland Garrett Mulhall will
be joining Radio International on a weekly basis to update the
listeners on the progress in the Irish selection process for the Junior
Eurovision Song Contest 2015 as well as the overall JESC progress. A
former Eurovision Winner as well as two times participant at the
Eurovision Song Contest is involved - Niamh Kavanagh. The official

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The Best of Melodifestivalen: With the victory of Mans Zelmerloew in Vienna winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Heroes"
the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 will be stage in Stockholm's Globen
Arena in Sweden next May. Without doubt Swedish Television produces the
biggest National Final there is to select the song that represents
Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest filling large halls across the
country in the stages of Melodifestivalen - sometimes even bigger than
the Eurovision Song Contest itself. In view of the upcoming event in
Stockholm the team of Radio International looks back at some of the
greatest songs that emerged from the Melodifestivalen over the years.
The series starts this week with Alasdair Rendall who takes a look at Melodifestivalen 2001.
Eurovision UnderCover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.
Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the

is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send

form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate
