Eurovision Song Contest 2015 - The POST EUROVISION DEPRESSION Cure: What
an amazing 60th Eurovision Song Contest ORF and EBU staged in the
Wiener Stadthalle in three amazing shows with two Semi Finals and the
Grand Final on Saturday 23 May 2015. 40 countries competed with 20
countries making it into the Grand Final meeting the the Host Country
Austria as well as the Big 5 (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United
Kingdom) plus special guest Australia. The 60th contest was won by Måns Zelmerloew from Sweden with the song "Heroes"
Many fans and journalists left Vienna with tears in their eyes saying
farewell to two weeks of a real good time departing from the Eurovision
Family for yet another year. The POST EUROVISION DEPRESSION (PED) has
conquered Europe and beyond and Eurovision Radio International is the
best cure for it week by week as we reflect on the Eurovision Song
Contest 2015 with broadcasting the many interviews done in Vienna. For

Interview with Monika and Vaidas (Lithuania 2015): Radio
International already had the chance to get to know and chat with
Monika and Vaidas at Eurovision in Concert 2015 earlier on in April when
they came to Amsterdam and the nicer it was to see both again and their
development of the participation of the Lithuanian representatives at
the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. One of the most symphathetic duo ever
at the Eurovision Song Contest Monika and Vaidas performed "This Time"
starting Semi Final 2and ranking at Number 7 with 67 points at the end
of the evening and with this securing the place in the Grand Final for
Lithuania. At the end of the voting of the Grand Final Monika and Vaidas
ranked their country at Number 18 with 30 points. JP and David chatted
with the singers after their press conference in the Vienna Press

Interview with Molly Sterling (Ireland 2015): Representing Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015
was Molly Sterling who competed for the ticket to the Grand
Final in Semi Final 2 where unfortunately she only ranked at Number 12
when only the Top Ten placed countries advance to the Grand Final.
Ireland received 35 points in Semi Final 2 for the song "Playing with Numbers".
During the rehearsal week JP had the pleasure to meet the singer in the
Vienna Press Centre for an interview you can hear this week's edition

Interview with Lisa Angell (France 2015): One of the nicest voices of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 was Lisa Angell
who represented France this year performing a classic French chanson.
Like United Kingdom, Germany, Spain and Italy France is part of the Big 5
countries meaning they don't have to go through the Semi Final stage
and is directly qualified for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song
Contest. Lisa performed the song "N'oubliez pas" meaning "Don't
forget" which ranked at Number 25 at the end of the show with a total of
4 points. In reaction interviews after the Eurovision Song Contest Lisa
said that she liked that feeling so much to be at the Eurovision Song
Contest that she would do it again straight away. JP met the singer plus
translator for an interview after her rehearsal and Press Conference in

Interview with Christer Bjoerkman (Sweden 1992 and Executive Producer of
Melodifestivalen and): The current format of Melodifestivalen is a complete
success and was inaugurated the first time the way it is now back in 2002 and
has become the biggest national final of any Eurovision Song Contest
country. Christer Bjoerkman who himself represented Sweden at the
Eurovision Song Contest in 1992 with the song "Imorgon aer en annan dag"
coming 22nd and also being member of the Reference
Group of the Eurovision Song Contest previously is the Executive
Producer of
Melodifestivalen. 2015 was the first year that any Swedish artist at the
current Eurovision year attends a pre-view event. Mans Zelmerloew was
accompanied by Christer to Amsterdam and also London. David Mann had the
pleasure to meet Christer Bjoerkman at the London Eurovision Preview
Event earlier on this year and chatted with Christer all matters
Eurovision and Melodifestivalen. Listen to this interesting interview on

Eurovision UnderCover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.

New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
