Eurovision Song Contest 2015 - The POST EUROVISION DEPRESSION Cure: What
an amazing 60th Eurovision Song Contest ORF and EBU staged in the
Wiener Stadthalle in three amazing shows with two Semi Finals and the
Grand Final on Saturday 23 May 2015. 40 countries competed with 20
countries making it into the Grand Final meeting the the Host Country
Austria as well as the Big 5 (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United
Kingdom) plus special guest Australia. The 60th contest was won by Måns Zelmerloew from Sweden with the song " Heroes"
Many fans and journalists left Vienna with tears in their eyes saying
farewell to two weeks of a real good time departing from the Eurovision
Family for yet another year. The POST EUROVISION DEPRESSION (PED) has
conquered Europe and beyond and Eurovision Radio International is the
best cure for it week by week as we reflect on the Eurovision Song
Contest 2015 with broadcasting the many interviews done in Vienna. For

Interview with Voltaj (Romania 2015): Voltaj exist as a band since 1982 and represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna with the song “ De la capat”
which came 15th in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015
with 51 points after successfully qualifying out of Semi Final 1 where
it ranked at Number 5. JP and David met up with the band after their
press conference in Vienna for an interview which you can hear on this
week's edition of Radio International.
Interview with Marta and Vaclav (Czech Republic 2015): The Czech Republic returned to the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with a fizzing and bubbly duo concisting of Marta & Vaclav performing the song entitled " Hope never dies"
which unfortunately only reached Number 13 in Semi Final 2 with a total
of 33 points and with this missed to qualify for the Final of the
Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Marta is also an artist in Germany and
has won with her band the Bundesvision Song Contest previously. Eric and
JP met the crazy couple after their press conference and rehearsal in
the Press Centre in Vienna for an interview which you can hear on this
week's edition of Radio International.
Interview with Monika Kuszynska (Poland 2015): After last year's success of Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest with Donatan and Cleo's " My Slowianie" reaching Number 14 in Copenhagen, this year's representative of Poland is Monika Kuszynska who sings " In the Name of Love"
closed out Semi Final 2 of the Eurovision Song Contest
2015 and ranked at Number 9 with 57 points and with this qualifying
Poland for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Monika
performed in a wheel chair as she is paralyzed for a number of years. In
the Grand Final Poland ranks at Number 23 with a total of 10 points.
Poland debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 with Edyta Gorniak and " To nie ja"
which straight rocketed to Number 2. Since then this result has never
been reached again.
Radio International met the singer initially at Eurovision in Concert
2015 for an
interview to find out more about Monika and then again JP caught up
with the singer right after her press conference in the Press Centre in

Jalisse (Italy 1997) and The Light Song Contest 2015 - Live Interview with Joe Niemela: Jalisse are Fabio and Alessandra and represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 with the song " Fiumi di Parole" before Italy took a break of 14 years. The song came 4th at the end of the voting. Since then Jalisse have
been active in the music business more on the Italian music market and
been working on many projects. The latest project Jalisse are engage in
is The Light Song Contest 2015.

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight: Debut countries at Eurovision: The
summer has arrived and that also means the start of a new series on
Radio International linked to a Eurovision theme. The Radio
International Eurovision Experts put their brains together and came up
with the great idea to reflext on the countries that debuted during the
60 years of the history of the Eurovision Song Contest. The series
starts this week with Chris Poppe who will start with the debut entries of Albania, Armenia, Andorra, Australia and Austria.
Eurovision UnderCover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.
Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins
the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest
such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision
performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.

New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.
