 Eurovision Song Contest 2015 - The POST EUROVISION DEPRESSION Cure: What
an amazing 60th Eurovision Song Contest ORF and EBU staged in the
Wiener Stadthalle in three amazing shows with two Semi Finals and the
Grand Final on Saturday 23 May 2015. 40 countries competed with 20
countries making it into the Grand Final meeting the the Host Country
Austria as well as the Big 5 (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United
Kingdom) plus special guest Australia. The 60th contest was won by Måns Zelmerloew from Sweden with the song "Heroes"
Many fans and journalists left Vienna with tears in their eyes saying
farewell to two weeks of a real good time departing from the Eurovision
Family for yet another year. The POST EUROVISION DEPRESSION (PED) has
conquered Europe and beyond and Eurovision Radio International is the
best cure for it week by week as we reflect on the Eurovision Song
Contest 2015 with broadcasting the many interviews done in Vienna. For

Just like in previous years joining us this week live on the show Salman Tanzeem
who is one of the prime organisers of the
Eurovision Weekend in Berlin that takes place from Friday 17 - Sunday 19
July 2015. Salman will tell us all about the
event that is happening on that particular Mid-summer Eurovision Weekend
which is partnered with OGAE Denmark and OGAE Germany and international fans
are more then welcome to attend. Details are available here.
 Interview with Bojana Stamenov (Serbia 2015): After
taking a year break with the Eurovision Song Contest and no qualifying
in 2013 with Moje 3, Serbia decided to come back to the contest with a
Ton of Fun. Representing Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015
was Bojana Stamenov who successfully qualified Serbia for the
Grand Final from Semi Final 1 where she ranked at Number 9. At the end
of the Voting in the Grand Final Serbia and the song "Beauty never lies"
ranked at Number 10 performed so nicely and energetic by Bojana
Stamenov. JP had the pleasure to meet the singer in the Vienna Press
Centre for an interview but also had a little chat with Bojana at the
Red Carpet event as part of the Opening Celebrations. Listen to both on

 Interview with Edurne (Spain 2015): One of the beauties of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 is no doubt coming from sunny Spain - Edurne who
is a fantastic singer and show host in Spain. TVE selected her to be
the ambassador for Europe's biggest music event. Spain is part of the
Big 5 countries meaning they don't have to go through the Semi Final
stage and is directly qualified for the Grand Final of the Eurovision
Song Contest. Edurne performed the song "Amanecer" meaning "Dawn"
which ranked at Number 21 at the end of the show. Eric and JP met the
singer for an interview after her rehearsal and Press Conference in

 Interview with John Karagiannis (Cyprus 2015): And
joining us on the show this week is a young singer from Cyprus by the
name of Giannis or John Karagiannis who represented Cyprus at the
Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "One thing I should have
done" which ranked and Number 22 at the end of the Eurovision Song
Contest 2015 after he successfully qualified his country to the Grand
Final from Semi Final 2 where he ranked at Number 6. Radio International
already had a chance to chat with the singer in Eurovision in Concert
in Amsterdam earlier this year but Eric, David and JP met up with the
singer again for a follow-on interview. Enjoy listening to this

 Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision 2015 - The Assessment: The
60th Eurovision Song Contest is over but still in the ears and eyes of
the fans and also the Radio International Eurovision Experts will give
their assessment over the next few editions of the show. The new series continues this week with Alasdair Rendall. Eurovision UnderCover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.  Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins
the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest
such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision
performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.

International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
