Eurovision Song Contest 2015 - The POST EUROVISION DEPRESSION Cure: What
an amazing 60th Eurovision Song Contest ORF and EBU staged in the
Wiener Stadthalle in three amazing shows with two Semi Finals and the
Grand Final on Saturday 23 May 2015. 40 countries competed with 20
countries making it into the Grand Final meeting the the Host Country
Austria as well as the Big 5 (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United
Kingdom) plus special guest Australia. The 60th contest was won by Måns Zelmerloew from Sweden with the song "Heroes"
Many fans and journalists left Vienna with tears in their eyes saying
farewell to two weeks of a real good time departing from the Eurovision
Family for yet another year. The POST EUROVISION DEPRESSION (PED) has
conquered Europe and beyond and Eurovision Radio International is the
best cure for it week by week as we reflect on the Eurovision Song
Contest 2015 with broadcasting the many interviews done in Vienna. For

Interview with Måns Zelmerloew (Eurovision Winner 2015, Sweden): Europe & Australia crowned the King of Eurovision 2015 - Måns Zelmerloew who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Heroes" receiving a total of 365 points which is the third highest number of votes following Loreen in 2012 and Alexander Rybak in 2009 who received the highest amount as a winner.The Team of Radio International was invited to the Hotel where the Swedish Delegation resided and conducted an interview with Måns there. Interview with Polina Gagarina (Russia 2015): In
a thriller during the voting sequence of this year's Eurovision Song
Contest Russia led the score board for a long time until Sweden took
over. At the end of the voting Russia came second in the 60th Eurovision
Song Contest with Polina Gagarina and the song "A Million Voices" with Swedish involvment in the song. Eric and JP met the charming singer for an interview in the press centre.

Interview with Il Volo (Italy 2015): As one of JP's colleagues called them Il Divo Light - Il Volo represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Grande Amore"
coming third in the contest. The colleagues in the Press Centre had
this tipped to be the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest with Sweden
second. Il Volo are huge in America and South America selling millions
of albums over there. Italy also was ready to win and host the next
Eurovision Song Contest but the trophy and the rights for next year went
to Sweden. The boys of Il Volo gave many interviews in the Press Centre
and Radio International is glad to broadcast their interview in this
week's edition of the show. Please note this interview will be scheduled for broadcast next week due to time constraints this week.
Interview with Loic Nottet (Belgium 2015): The
Kingdom of Belgium was once again represented by a young artist from
the French part of Belgium just like two years ago when Roberto
Bellarosa represented the country with "Love Kills" doing very well for
Belgium back in 2013. Loic Nottet could top that result and rocketed right up to Number 4 in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Rhythm inside".
Loic received a lot of media attention in the Press Centre in Vienna
and gave interviews untill an hour before the Grand Final started.

Interview with Elina Born and Stig Raesta (Estonia 2015): A great singer and a great songwriter was the recipe of Estonia's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 when Elina Born and Stig Raesta represented Estonia at this year's Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Goodbye to Yesterday".
Estonia came 7th in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. JP met the
singers in the Press Centre for an interview which will be broadcast on
this week's edition of Radio International.

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision 2015 - The Assessment: The
60th Eurovision Song Contest is over but still in the ears and eyes of
the fans and also the Radio International Eurovision Experts will give
their assessment over the next few editions of the show. The new series
starts this week with Chris Poppe who actually enjoyed Eurovision on
location in Vienna.
Eurovision UnderCover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.
Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest such as the National Finals or if it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

nails at our weekly Eurovision Song Contest Quiz. Good luck and win a
copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the
Eurovision Goodies Bag. All you
have to do
is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send
your answers via the website's CONTACTs
form. As for the quiz answers, you have two weeks time to crack the quiz
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate
