Melodifestivalen 2015 Interviews: Melodifestivalen 2015 took place on Saturday 14 March 2015 in
Stockholm's Friends Arena with 12 great artists selected out of the four
Semi Finals and the Second Chance round. 28000 people in the Arena and a
great pair of show hosts: Sanna Nielsen and Robin Paulsson guiding
through the Final of Melodifestivalen. JP and Eric were on location and
conducted interviews with many of the artists and producer Christer
Bjoerkman. This week's edition of Radio International will be a special
on Sweden's selection to the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Enjoy the
show especially this week. 12 acts competed in Sweden's
Melodifestivalen 2015 and Eric and JP speed interviewed most of the acts
at the Press Conferences after the Dress Rehearsal and after the Grand

Interview with Mans Zelmerloew (Sweden 2015): Who followed
Melodifestivalen last Saturday knows that Mans Zelmerloew won the
competition with the song "Heroes" and with this will be representing
Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria and
possible follow in the footsteps of Conchita Wurst. Previously Mans had
two attempts in Melodifestivalen with "Cara Mia" in 2007 and "Hope and
Glory" in 2009. He also was the host of Melodifestivalen in 2010. Radio
International met the singer after the dress rehearsal on Friday night.

Interview withe Jon Henrik Fjaellgren (Melodifestivalen 2015): Eric and
JP met Jon Henrik at the after show party and chatted with him about his
entry and life. The song is called "Jag aer fri" written by Jon Henrik
himself and ranked second in Melodifestivalen 2015.
Interview with Eric Saade (Melodifestivalen 2015): With already being a
previous winner of Melodifestivalen back in 2011 Eric Saade represented
Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Popular"
ranking third in Duesseldorf. In 2015 Eric Saade returned to
Melodifestivalen with the song "Sting" which at the end of the show on
Saturday ranked at Number 5. JP met Eric in the Press Centre during the
rehearsals on Thursday evening for an interview and also Eric chatted

Interview with Sanna Nielsen and Robin Paulsson (Hosts of
Melodifestivalen 2015): The hosts of this year's Melodifestivalen were
absolutely great and a good presentation also lifts the show higher.
Sanna Nielsen was the winner of Melodifestivalen 2014 with the song
"Undo" and with this Sweden's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2014
coming third. Robin Paulsson is a famous comedian on Swedish

Interview with Christer Bjoerkman (Executive Producer of
Melodifestivalen): The current format of Melodifestivalen is a complete
success and was inaugurated the first time I this way back in 2002 and
has become the biggest national final of any Eurovision Song Contest
country. Christer Bjoerkman who himself represented Sweden at the
Eurovision Song Contest in 1992 and also being member of the Reference
Group of the Eurovision Song Contest is the Executive Producer of
Melodifestivalen. Eric and JP chatted with Christer after the Grand

Interview with Mørland & Debrah Scarlett (Norway 2015): While Melodifestivalen 2015 went
on in Stockholm's Friends Arena over in Oslo Norway selected their entry
to the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Daniel Koch on behalf of Radio
International met up with the winning act Mørland & Debrah Scarlett right after their
victory for first reactions on winning the Norwegian final with the song
"A Monster like me".
Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The National Final Season 2015: The National
Final Season to the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 is over. Chris Poppe closes out the
series taking a look at the final lot of songs that have been selected
or nominated in National Finals. Chris will introduce the song from Albania, Armenia, Austria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Israel, Montenegro, Norway, Russia, San Marino and Sweden.
Eurovision UnderCover: This ever so popular feature on Radio International is David Mann's weekly edition of the Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.

New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the
Eurovision Goodies Bag. All you
have to do
is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send
your answers via the website's CONTACTs form. As for the quiz answers, you have time until 2359 hours the Tuesday
after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the
listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate
