ImageMESC 2015 - Interview with Amber (Malta 2015): The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2015 took place on 21 & 22 November 2014 from the Marsa Ship Yard in Malta with 20 songs entering into the Semi Final then narrowed down to a Top 14 and then on Saturday the winner was the public favourite as well as the jury favourite - Amber Bondin will be representing Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Warrior" written by Elton Zarb and Matt Muxu, who also were responsible for the victory of Gaia Cauchi at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "The Start". What an amazing national final the Maltese broadcaster PBS organized. Well done!!! On this week's edition of Radio International listen to the interview of Amber during the rehearsals but then also when she won the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2015 and JP interviewed her at the After Show Party. ImageMESC 2015 - Interview with Christabelle: Also competing at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2015 on 22 November 2014 was Christabelle with the energetic song "Rush" that came second to Amber in the contest. In the 2014 edition of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest she entered with "Lovetricity" that came XXX. Listen to the interview with Christabelle in this week's edition of Radio International. ImageJunior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 - Interview with Vinzenco Cantiello (Winner, Italy): The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 took place in Malta on 15 November 2014 with debutant Italy winning the event. The song "Tu primo grande amore" was performed so passionately by Vinzenco on stage and won the event with 159 points on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 stage in the Marsa Ship Yard. ImageEurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Austria in Eurovision:  Continuing this week when Radio International takes you right to the National Selections to the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Austria initially won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1966 for the very first time with Udo Juergens singing "Merci Cherie" and then the second victory came in 2014 with Conchita Wurst and "Rise like a Phoenix" and with this will be hosting the 2015 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. As in previous years the Eurovision Spotlight has reflected on the songs of the next host country and this year is no exception. The Radio International Eurovision Experts will be taking a look at Austria's history at the Eurovision Song Contest. The series continues this week with Ross Bennett. Enjoy the flashback into Austria's entries to the Eurovision Song Contest.
 
Image Eurovision UnderCover:  Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the cover. Enjoy the brand new series.  Listeners are encouraged to send in their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. David Mann's been digging deep in his treasure box for this week's Eurovision Cover song. Don't miss it!
 
ImageEurovision Song Contest Spotlight XL - The Semi Final entries that should have qualified for the Grand Final:  Returning to the airwaves this week and that in a longer version than the usual slot is Marcus Keppel-Palmer who will be joining JP for the third hour of this week's edition of the show to take a look at some of the great Eurovision entries that actually should have qualified for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest. This week listen to the choice of Radio International's own version of Nana Mouskouri Lilian Brunnell from Stockholm, Sweden who selected 20 songs she thinks should have qualified for the Grand Final. Marcus and JP chat about those entries and of course also play ten of them. Radio International has received some submissions from listeners and they will be featured in the weeks to come on the show, however, if you would like to submit your choice of Semi Final entries that should have made the Grand Final please send your Top Twenty list of songs to CONTACT and let us know why you select each song.  Please note: There will be a New Year's Eve Special in form of a Top 40 Chart of all the Semi Final Eurovision entries you have voted for over the past couple of years. Don't miss it.  
 
ImageNew Song Releases by Eurovision Artists:  Radio International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs which are being featured on the show. 
 
ImageEurovision Song Contest News: escXtra.com's Nathan Waddell joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Songesc-n Contest. Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics such as viewing figures in the various countries and more. Nathan is website editor with escxtra.com.
