International never stops and is keen on
keeping the music of the Eurovision Song Contest in the ears of the many
fans that join the show each and every week via the usual means either
via PODCAST, Itunes, LISTEN AGAIN, live broadcast or Live Stream. Please feel

 Holidaying Radio International:
For the next three weeks the Team of Radio International will be on
holidays and JP will broadcast four special shows to you starting this
week with many items, special features and interviews which were not yet
broadcast on Radio International. Also enjoy the flashback to the
Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with some interviews and with this to cure
the Post Eurovision Depression. The normal format of Radio International is back on 08 October 2014.
 Interview with Anne-Marie David (Eurovision Winner 1973, Luxembourg): Last week Radio International aired an interview with La Grande Dame de la chanson - Anne-Marie David, although being of French origin won the Eurovision Song Contest for Luxembourg back in 1973 with the song "Tu Te Reconnaitras". Anne-Marie David was special guest at the
Aftershow of the Belgian National Final - Eurosong 2014 where JP & Eric
met the singer backstage for an interview but this week David Mann met the Eurovision Winner at the London Preview Event earlier on in April 2014. Listen to this interview on the show this week.
 Interview with Linda Martin (Eurovision Winner 1992, Ireland): David Mann not only met Eurovision Winner Anne-Marie David at the London Preview Event last April but also Ireland's Linda Martin who took part at the Eurovision Song Contest twice. The first time round was back in 1984 when she came second with the song "Terminal 3" and then in 1992 she won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Why me" which was written by Johnny Logan. Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014: The Team of Radio International as every year sends a delegation to Malta to interview the many singers that try to win the ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest in winning Malta Eurovision Song Contest which this year was won by Firelight and the song "Coming Home". With Firelight, Malta qualified for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen and ranked at Number 23 at the end of the voting. David Mann has been out and about at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest reporting from backstage and also went to Malta's ONE RADIO where he interviewed Deo Grech who hosts the weekly Maltese Eurovision Radio show.  Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 - Interview with Gianluca and the Bezzina Familie: In 2013 Malta was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest by the smiley Doctor Feelgood - Gianluca Bezzina with the song "Tomorrow" which came 8th in Malmoe, Sweden. Together with former Eurovision 2002 Malta representative Ira Losco who came second back then with the song "7th Wonder" - Gianluca hosted the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and also performed in the interval act together with his sisters and brothers. The Team of Radio International on location meet all of them together and used the chance for an interview you can hear on this week's edition of Radio International.
 Interview with Suzy (Portugal 2014): One of the Fan Favourites of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 was Suzy from Portugal who missed out by just one point to qualify Portugal for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Quero ser tua" and ended up 11th in Semi Final 1. After her rehearsals and the Press Conference the Team of Radio International had the pleasure to chat with the young tall singer from Portugal.  Interview with Twin Twin (France 2014): La Republic
Francaise was represented by one of the funniest acts in recent years
sent in from France to the Eurovision Song Contest - Twin Twin who unfortunately did end up at the anchor position of the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Moustache".
However, as France is part of the BIG 5 they were already qualified
automatically for the Grand Final. Debbie O'Hare and David Mann met the funny guys and delivered an interview to Radio International which you can hear on this week's edition of the show.
 Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
