 Interview with Jan Johansen (Sweden 1995): The summer
month is always a good chance to catch up with the many interviews the
team of Radio International do throughout the year and this week there
is another big nugget which is going to be aired on the show. It is an
interview with Jan Johansen who represented Sweden at the
Eurovision Song Contest 1995. He became the winner of Melodifestivalen
1995 and with this the ticket to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song
Contest with the song "Se paa mej" - with Jan Johansen. Sweden
came third with a total of 100 points. OGAE Germany invited Jan for
their 2014 Fan Club Convention where JP met up with the singer for an
indebt interview which was done in Munich earlier on this year. Listen

 Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision Songwriters - This week: Andre Popp & Pierre Cour: The
Eurovision
Song Contest 2014 is over and after Eurovision is before
Eurovision. Many countries will have Eurovision events throughout the
summer into the autumn to bridge the Post Eurovision Depression. Also
Radio International does not stand still and delivers in the weekly
three hour show lots of items to make you forget the PED. In the current
series the Eurovision Experts of Radio International take a look at the
songwriters in Eurovision Song Contest. Continuing this week
is Chris Poppe with taking a look at the works of Andre Popp & Pierre Cour and the nice songs they have added to the ears of the many Eurovision fans.
 Malta Summer Hit Song Contest 2014: On 06 August 2014
edition of Radio International Deo Grech from Malta One Radio talked
about the Malta Summer Hit Song Contest 2014 which is now in the
preparation stages where the 18 competing songs are being introduced on
Malta's F-Living TV channel. Courtesy of Marc Calleja-Bayliss from
escflashmalta.com Radio International will introduce the songs on the
radio every week. The Grand Final of the contest will be in September
and by that time all songs will have been aired on Radio International.
 Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. David Mann's been digging deep in his treasure box for this week's Eurovision Cover song. Don't miss it!
 New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show. This week the new single by Thea Saliba from Malta, Dima Bilan alias Alien 24 from Russia.
 Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell fell ill this week and Eurovision Ireland's Editor in Chief Garrett Mulhall stood in and did a fantastic job in delivering this week's Eurovision News. Nathan hopefully is better next week and joins the team in the studio to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Songesc-n Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
