fans that join the show each and every week via the usual means either

Eurovision Song Contest 2014 - Radio International on location in Copenhagen - a recap: The
Team of Radio International while at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014
produced lots of material in terms of interviews with the Eurovision

Interview with Darja Svaiger (Slovenia 1995 & 1999): The
summer month is always a good chance to catch up with the many
interviews the team of Radio International do throughout the year and
this week there is a little nugget which is going to be aired on the
show. It is an interview with Darja Svaiger who represented the little country of Slovenia twice. First it was back in 1995 when Darja performed " Prisluhni mi" which came 7th for Slovenia and then again four years on when in 1999 she returned for Slovenia with the song " The Light of Thousand Years"
which reached Number 10
at the Eurovision Song Contest. Eurovision Club Germany invited Darja
for a recent Fan Club Convention where JP met up with the singer for an
interview in her dressing room of the Gloria Theatre in Cologne. Listen

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision Songwriters - This week: Ralph Siegel & Bernd Meinunger: The
Eurovision
Song Contest 2014 is over and after Eurovision is before
Eurovision. Many countries will have Eurovision events throughout the
summer into the autumn to bridge the Post Eurovision Depression. Also
Radio International does not stand still and delivers in the weekly
three hour show lots of items to make you forget the PED. In the current
series the Eurovision Experts of Radio International take a look at the
songwriters in Eurovision Song Contest. Continuing this week
is Marcus Keppel-Palmer with taking a lock at the works of Ralph Siegel & Bernd Meinunger and the nice songs they have added to the ears of the many Eurovision fans including Germany's first victory in 1982 by Nicole " Ein bisschen Frieden".
Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight XL - The Semi Final entries that should have qualified for the Grand Final: Returning to the airwaves this week and that in a longer version than the usual slot is Marcus Keppel-Palmer who
will
be joining JP for the third hour of this week's edition of
the show to take a look at some of the great Eurovision entries that
actually should have qualified for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song
Contest. Due to the success of this feature and listeners request Joseph Thornburg from Southern California, United States of America selected 20 songs he thinks should have qualified for the Grand Final. Marcus and JP chat
about those entries and of course also play ten of them. Radio
International has received some submissions from listeners and
they will be featured in the weeks to come on the show, however, if
you would like to submit your choice of Semi Final entries that should
have made the Grand Final please send your Top Twenty list of songs to CONTACT and let us know why you select each song.
Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. David Mann's been digging deep in his treasure box for this week's Eurovision Cover song. Don't miss it!
New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show. This week the new single by manGa.
Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell took over the newscasting from Luke and joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Songesc-n Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
