Radio International would like to send condolences to the families of the MH17 victims whose bodies were flown home to the Netherlands on Wednesday 23 July 2014. Due to the State Mourining in the Netherlands and adapting the radio show to a more appropriate output some show features were postponed and the music was toned down in respect of the many innocent people that found their death last Thursday.
Eurovision Song Contest 2014 - Radio International on location in Copenhagen - a recap: The Team of Radio International while at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 produced lots of material in terms of interviews with the Eurovision 2014 performers plus some specials which you will hear on Eurovision Radio International during the next weeks curing your Post Eurovision Depression as much as possible. Interview with Scott Fitzgerald (United Kingdom 2014): The United Kingdom was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 by Scott Fitzgerald with the song "Go"
coming 2nd with just ONE point difference to the winner who was Celine
Dion winning the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 for Switzerland with the
song "Ne partez pas sans moi". The victory for Celine also
launched her worldwide career with many great songs and albums on
release including the Millionseller "My heart will go on" from the
Titanic Movie Soundtrack. Scott Fitzgerald had singing success with Yvonne Keeley and the song "If I had words" which reached Number 3 in the UK Singles Charts back in 1978. Details about Scott Fitzgerald can be found here
and he has also been taking part at various Eurovision events in recent
years. At last weekend's Eurovision Weekend in Berlin 2014 Radio
International had the pleasure to meet Scott again for an short
interview on his updates which is aired on this week's edition of Radio
International.

Interview with Suzy (Portugal 2014): Suzy represented
Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and with this is also the
50th Winner of the Festival da Cancao which is Portugal's National
Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The song "Quero ser tua"
which unfortunately failed to qualify for the Grand Final of the
Eurovision Song Contest 2014 as she reached Number 11 in Semi Final 1
when only the Top 10 songs qualify for the Grand Final. However, a very
lively person and very outgoing with great singing capabilities Suzy was
invited to this year's Eurovision Weekend in Berlin where Radio
International had the please to chat with Susy about her particiaption
at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and her upcoming career. Listen to

Interview with Corinna May (Germany 2002): Germany was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 by the blind Corinna May with the song "I can't live without music"
penned by Ralph Siegel. The song reached Number 21 for Germany at the
Eurovision Song Contest in Tallin. Corinna has been invited by the
organisers of the Eurovision Weekend in Berlin for this year and Radio
International had the big pleasure to meet the singer and do an
interview with her which you can hear on this week's edition of Radio
International. This is especially interesting since Corinna talkes about
her experience as a blind singer having represented her country at the
Eurovision Song Contest.

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision Songwriters - This week: Ross Bennett: The
Radio International Spotlight through the summer of 2014 features the
songwriters at the Eurovision Song Contest and in this series the
Eurovision Experts of Radio International will be
taking a look at the songwriters that brought us many great Eurorivison
entries. Continuing this week is Ross Bennett taking a lock at the works of the late Ehud Manor and
the nice songs he has added to the ears of the many Eurovision fans.
Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in

New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show. This week the new single by Sebalter.
Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell took over the newscasting from Luke and joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Songesc-n Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
