Eurovision Song Contest 2014 - Radio International on location in Copenhagen - a recap:  The Team of Radio International while at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 produced lots of material in terms of interviews with the Eurovision 2014 performers plus some specials which you will hear on Eurovision Radio International during the next weeks curing your Post Eurovision Depression as much as possible. Interview with Scott Fitzgerald (United Kingdom 2014):  The United Kingdom was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 by Scott Fitzgerald with the song "Go" coming 2nd with just ONE point difference to the winner who was Celine Dion winning the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 for Switzerland with the song "Ne partez pas sans moi". The victory for Celine also launched her worldwide career with many great songs and albums on release including the Millionseller "My heart will go on" from the Titanic Movie Soundtrack. Scott Fitzgerald had singing success with Yvonne Keeley and the song "If I had words" which reached Number 3 in the UK Singles Charts back in 1978. Radio International had the pleasure to meet Scott for an interview which is aired on this week's edition of Radio International in view of  the Eurovision Weekend 2014 scheduled to take place in Berlin Friday 18 - Sunday 20 July 2014 where Scott is one of the special guests. Eurovision Weekend in Berlin 2014 - Reminder:  Just like in 2013 the Eurovision Weekend in Berlin that takes place from Friday 18 - Sunday 20 July 2014. Check out the details of the event that is happening on that particular Mid-summer Eurovision Weekend which is partnered with OGAE UK and OGAE Germany and international fans are more then welcome to attend. Interview with Malene Mortensen (Denmark 2002):  The 2002 Eurovision Song Contest came from Tallin in Estonia with neighbouring Latvia winning the contest as Marie N's "I wanna" took the trophy. Denmark in that year was represented by Malene Mortensen with the song "Tell me who you are" reaching Number 24 at the end of the voting. OGAE Germany invited the singer from the 2014 Eurovision Host Country Denmark to their annual club convention and Radio International had the pleasure to interview the singer. Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision Songwriters - This week:  Joachim Horn-Bernges:   The Radio International Spotlight through the summer of 2014 features the songwriters at the Eurovision Song Contest and in this series the Eurovision Experts of Radio International will be taking a look at the songwriters that brought us many great Eurorivison entries. Continuing this week is  Dermot Manning taking a lock at the works of Joachim Horn-Bernges and the nice songs he has added to the ears of the many Eurovision fans. 

Eurovision Song Contest News:  Nathan Waddell took over the newscasting from Luke and joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Songesc-n Contest. Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics such as viewing figures in the various countries and more. Nathan is website editor with escxtra.com.
