 Interview with Gaia Cauchi (Winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014, Malta): Malta
will be the host of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 from a
shipyard in Marsa. Seems to be a trend to stage the Eurovision Song
Contests now in old shipyards :). Unlike at the Eurovision Song Contest
where the winning country will host automatically the following year's
contest, this is not the case at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest,
however, after Gaia Cauchi's victory for Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Kiev last December where she won with "The Start",
Maltese public broadcaster pbs offered to also host the contest which
is in fact the very first Eurovision event Malta will ever have hosted.
To promote the event as much as possible Gaia appeared during the
Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen and also gave an interview to
the Team of Radio International in the Press Centre. Hear it on the
show this week. And coincidentally, Gaia also released her follow-up

 Eurovision Weekend in Berlin 2014 - Live Interview with Salman Tanzeem (Prime Organiser):
Just like in 2013 joining us this week live on the show Salman Tanzeem
who is one of the prime organisers of the
Eurovision Weekend in Berlin that takes place from Friday 18 - Sunday 20
July 2014. Salman will tell us all about the
event that is happening on that particular Mid-summer Eurovision Weekend
which is partnered with OGAE UK and OGAE Germany and international fans
are more then welcome to attend. Details are available here.
 Interview with Donatan & Cleo (Poland 2014): Poland
returned to the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 after a couple of years of
a break. But then returned with a bang to the contest with Donatan & Cleo and the song "My Słowianie – We Are Slavic"
which successfully qualified from the Semi Final 2 into the Grand Final
of the Eurovision Song Contest and there reached a remarkable Number
14. Already when the news came out that Donatan & Cleo would
represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest - the song had over 15
million hits on YouTube within three weeks. JP had the pleasure to
conduct an interviewwith the Polish entry in the Copenhagen Press Centre
with the translating help of Szymon. Listen to the interview on this

 Interview with Softengine (Finland 2014): Softengine was the act the represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Something Better"
which did remarkabley well after qualifying from the Semi Final for the
Grand Final and then ranked at Number 12. Softengine are a young boy
band from deepest Finland and find out more about the guys by listening
to the interview that the Team of Radio International conducted just

 Interview with TEO (Belarus 2014): Belarus was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 by Teo alias Juryj Vaščuk with the song "Cheesecake"
that also successfully qualified from Semi Final 2 into the Grand Final
and there at the end of the contest ranked at Number 16. Teo previously
has been involved as songwriter and producer of many Belarussian
national final entries to the Eurovision Song Contest but felt the urge
to be on stage himself at the 2014 edition of the Eurovision Song
Contest. And it was a success. Already at Eurovision in Concert 2014 in
Amsterdam Eric and JP had the pleasure to interview the young singer/
songwiter and then JP met Teo again in Copenhagen after his Press
Conference for a little chat. Listen to the interview on this week's

 Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision Songwriters - This week: Geo Gardaz & Emile Vaumard: In the new
series taking us through the Summer of 2014 the Eurovision Experts of Radio International will be
taking a look at the songwriters that brought us many great Eurorivison entries and continuing this week is Chris Poppe taking a lock at the works of Geo Gardaz & Emile Vaumard and
the nice songs they has added to the ears of the many Eurovision fans.
 Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. David Mann's been digging deep in his treasure box for this week's Eurovision Cover song. Don't miss it!
 New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show. This week Radio International played the new songs by Softengine,Ira Losco, Gaia Cauchi and many more.
 Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell took over the newscasting from Luke and joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Songesc-n Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
