 Holidaying Radio International: For the next four weeks the Team of Radio International will be on holidays and JP will broadcast four special shows to you starting this week with many items, special features and interviews which were not yet broadcast on Radio International. Also enjoy the flashback to the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with some interviews and with this to cure the Post Eurovision Depression.  Interview with Katrina of Katrina & the Waves (Eurovision Winner 1997, United Kingdom): During the National Final Season team members of Radio International had the pleasure to meet many previous Eurovision performers and winners that were part of the national finals either as Jury Members or as Interval Act. The Team of Radio International had the pleasure to meet and interview Katrina of Katrina and the Waves who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997 with the song "Love shine a light". Katrina was part of the Aftershow at the Belgium National Final - Eurosong 2014. Enjoy this funny interview on this week's edition of Radio International. You can also watch this interview on our YouTube Channel - click here  Interview with Anne-Marie David (Eurovision Winner 1973, Luxembourg): La Grande Dame de la chanson - Anne-Marie David, although being of French origin won the Eurovision Song Contest for Luxembourg back in 1973 with the song "Tu Te Reconnaitras". Like Katrina and Tom Dice, Anne-Marie David was special guestat the Aftershow of the Belgian National Final - Eurosong 2014. JP & Eric met the singer backstage for an interview which will be broadcast during this week's edition of Radio International.
 Interview with Tom Dice (Belgium 2010): Tom Dice represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Me and my guitar" which came 6th in the Grand Final in Oslo. Like Katrina, Tom Dice was also part of the Aftershow at the Belgium National Final - Eurosong 2014. Eric & JP met Tom backstage to get an update on his career.  Eurosong 2014 - the Belgian National Final: The Belgian National Final or EUROSONG 2014 is the selection process of Belgium to find a song to be sent to the Eurovision Song Contest. In the meantime we know that it was Axel Hirsoux who represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Mother" which unfortunately, only reached Number 14 in Semi Final 1 in Copenhagen and with this missing out to perform the song for a second time in the Grand Final. David Mann has been out and out in Antwerp at the Belgian National Final interviewing fans and artists on the event. Listen to his report on this week's edition of the show.
 Interview with Vilija (Lithuania 2014): This year's entry of Lithuania did not qualify for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest however, won the Barbara Dex Award and the worst dressed performance of the contest :). Vilija represented Lithuania with the song "Attention" which only reached Number 11 in Semi Final 2 when only theTop 10 advance in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest. Vilija has been to some promotion events such as Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam but also at the London Preview Event where by Debbie O'Hare & David Mann met the singer for an interview you can hear on this week's edition of Radio International.
 Interview with Tanja (Estonia 2014): With one of the most impressive musical background Tanja followed in the footsteps of Birgit Oigemeel to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Amazing" which missed to qualify for the Grand Final as it ranked at Number 12 in Semi Final 1. However, a great singer and performer and very diverse as you can find out in the interview that JP did with the singer in the Press Centre in Copenhagen.  Eurovision Song Contest News: Nathan Waddell joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
Nathan is website editor with escxtra.com. In addition, Eurovision News is available on www.eurovision.tv, esctoday.com and escflashmalta.com (amongst others). Due to the summer holiday schedule Nathan returns in October when the show reverts back to normal.
