Eurovision in Concert 2014 - the complete recap: Eurovision
in Concert 2014 took place on 05 September 2014 with the participation
of 25 countries that will be competing at the Eurovision Song Contest
2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark next month. The Teams of Radio International
and W12P teamed up and worked together to interview as many artists as
possible which you can hear over the next weeks on Radio International
and W12P. At this point Radio International would like to thank all the
organisers of this year's edition of Eurovision in Concert for a great
event set up and we are looking forward to the 7th edition in 2015. :)
Interview with Basim (Denmark 2014): One of the favourites to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 is coming from the host country Denmark. It is Basim who performs the song "Cliche Love Song"
and due to Denmark's victory of Emmelie de Forest in 2013, Denmark
hosts the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and with this Basim and Demark is
directly qualified for the Grand Final for Saturday, 10 May 2014.
Denmark picked starting position Number 23. Radio International met up
with the singer at Eurovision in Concert 2014 for a little chat. Very

Interview with Twin Twin (France 2014): France returns to the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 as part of the BIG 5 with the funny trio called Twin Twin performing the song "Moustache".
Enjoy the interview with these funny - full of energy - guys from La
Republic Francaise following in the footsteps of Amadine Bourgeois from
last year. They perform a very modern French pop song and they rocked
the house of Eurovision in Concert 2014. Eric and JP interviewed the
crazy bunch as well as Debbie & David.

Interview with Freaky Fortune and Risky Kidd (Greece 2014):
Let's have some Eurovision Ska as one of the most modern pop tunes
competing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 is the entry from Greece
by Freaky Fortune and Risky Kidd. This three man group won the Greek National Final on MAD TV in Athens with the song "Rise up"
which is also the tune with which the guys will represent Greece at the
Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Semi Final 2 Song 13. Listen to the

Interview with Teo (Belarus 2014): And following in the footsteps of Alyona Lanskaya for whom he also wrote national final entries - is Teo who this year decided to compete himself in the national final with the song "Cheesecake".
Belarus will be performing in Semi Final 2 of the Eurovision Song
Contest 2014 at position Number 10. Listen to the interview on this

Interview with Cristina Scarlat (Moldova 2014): Aliona Moon represented Moldova last year with the amazing "O Mie" coming 11th in the Final. This year Cristina Scarlat won the national final in Moldova with the ballade "Wild Soul"
which is also the song she will be representing Moldova with at the
Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Semi Final 1 at Song 11. Also there is
an interview her on this week's edition of the show.

Interview with Vilija Mataciunaite (Lithuania 2014): Lithuania this year will be represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 by Vilija with the song "Attention".
She will be starting in Semi Final 2 at Song 7. Eric and JP had the
pleasure to meet the full of joy lady at Eurovision in Concert for an

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision 2014 in Regions: For
the next three weeks the Eurovision Experts of Radio International will be
taking a look at the 2014 Eurovision entries per region and this week Chris Poppe
will start with the southern countries that are competing at the
Eurovision Song Contest 2014. In addition, each week our correspondents
will be asked to tell us their personal favourite but also their tip
what could actually win the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
Kuunkuiskaajat (Finland 2010) release a new album: The two ladies of Kuunkuiskaajat, Susan and Johanna, who represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Työlki Ellää"
are working on a new album. See below for details and Radio
International is happy to have the ladies on the show in the not too
distant future to chat about the album. Susan and Johanna would like to
reach their fans abroad with this message on their new album with crowd
sourcing - they're collecting donations from fans and supporters.
Kuunkuiskaajat have composed loads of new wonderful songs, and are now
looking for fans and supporters to make an album happen. They did not
want to make a new album based on the record company's rules and
therefore decided to take matters in their own hands and fund it by

Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in

New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.
Eurovision Song Contest News: Luke Fisher joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest. Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International.
