Start of the European Summer Time: Just a quick reminder that
this coming Sunday morning the European Summer Time begins and leaves
behind the dark winter days. Clocks "spring" forward by one hour on
Sunday morning when at 0200 hours it will be 0300 hours. So don't forget
to change all your clocks, watches, video recorders, etc.
Interview with Emmelie de Forest (Eurovision Winner 2013, Denmark): The current Queen of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 - Emmelie de Forest won the competition with the song "Only Teardrops"
and with this taking the show to Copenhagen in May 2014. During the
National Final Season Emmelie has visited many countries to of course
perform her winning song and also the new theme song to the Eurovision
Song Contest 2014 - "Rainmaker". The Malta Eurovision Song
Contest 2014 was no exception and the Team of Radio International used
the chance to chat with Emmelie in an interview you can hear on this
week's edition of Radio International. You can watch this interview on our YouTube Channel - click here. Interview with Ruslana (Eurovision Winner 2004, Ukraine): It was
ten years ago when the Ukraine entered the Eurovision Song Contest as a
newcomer and also won the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with Ruslana's "Wild Dances".
Ruslana has been very much engaged in the political problems in her
home country fighting for a more European Ukraine. She has been invited
to be part of the Jury during the castings and the Semi Finals plus
Grand Final of the Belgian Eurovision selection shows called EUROSONG.
David Mann had the pleasure to chat with the Winner of the 2004
Eurovision Song Contest at her hotel in Antwerp. Hear the interview on

 Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 - Interview with Andreana Debattista: The
Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 took place on Friday and Saturday,
07 and 07 February 2014 from the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in
Ta'Qali with Firelight winning the ticket to represent Malta at the
Eurovision Song Contest 2014.

This week Radio International offers you the next interview with one of
the contestants of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Andreana Debattista competed at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Now and Forever"
which unfortunately was one of the six songs that did not qualify for
the Final of the Maltese Selection Process for the Eurovision Song
Contest 2014. However, Andreana is a very talented singer and TV Show
Host. Let's find out more about her in the interview which you can hear
on this week's edition of the show. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to broadcast this interview on this week's edition of Radio International, however, the interview will be kept for later broadcasting. Sorry for the inconvenience.
 Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision Song Contest 2014 - Betting Odds: Since
17 March 2014 all the songs that are competing at the Eurovision Song
Contest 2014 in Copenhagen in May 2014 have been submitted to the EBU
(European Broadcasting Union) now in some countries the betting starts.
Which country is going to win, which to end up last, etc - Dermot Manning
takes a closer look at those entries already being talked about. Also
he will let us in which are his personal Top 3 of the 2014 Eurovision
Songs.
 Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight XL - The Semi Final entries that should have qualified for the Grand Final: Returning to the airwaves this week and that in a longer version than the usual slot is Marcus Keppel-Palmer who
will
be joining JP for the third hour of this week's edition of
the show to take a look at some of the great Eurovision entries that
actually should have qualified for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song
Contest. Due to the success of this feature and listeners request Krzysztof Miskowicz from Poland selected 30 songs he thinks should have qualified for the Grand Final. Marcus and JP chat
about those entries and of course also play ten of them. Radio
International has received some submissions from listeners and
they will be featured in the weeks to come on the show, however, if
you would like to submit your choice of Semi Final entries that should
have made the Grand Final please send your Top Twenty list of songs to CONTACT and let us know why you select each song.  Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. David Mann's been digging deep in his treasure box for this week's Eurovision Cover song. Don't miss it!
 New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.
 Eurovision Song Contest News: Luke
Fisher
joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
