 Interview with Elaiza (Germany 2014): Germany held a big
National Final yet again after the great success in 2013 which was won
by Cascade in Hannover. NDR organised this year's National Final in
Cologne's Lanxess Arena with the participation of many well known
artists but also brand new musicians who actually won the National Final
and with this represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in
Copenhagen, Denmark - Elaiza (Elżbieta "Ela" Steinmetz, Yvonne Grünwald and Natalie Plöger) received the most number of votes for the song " Is it right"
and beating Germany's well known Unheilig in the Super Final. The

 Eurosong 2014 - Complete Recap: The Eurosong 2014
(Belgium's National Final) took place Saturday, 16 March 2014 where
Belgium together with an
International Jury selected their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest
2014 to take place in Copenhagen, Denmark next May. After many casting
shows and four Semi Finals and the Grand Final in Antwerp's Sportspaleis
Belgium sends into the race Axel Hirsoux to follow the footsteps
of Roberto Bellarosa to
represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. This week on
the show listen to some of the interviews the Team of Radio
International did at Eurosong 2014. You

 Belgium Eurosong 2014 - Interview with Axel Hirsoux (Belgium 2014): Winning the Belgian National Final 2014 by a storm was Axel Hirsoux and his amazing voice performing " Mother"
receiving 234 points from the International Jury and the Televoters in
Belgium. The runners up Bandits only received 90 votes. Listen to the
interview Radio International did with Axel after his winning
performance.

 Belgium Eurosong 2014 - Interview with Bandits: Young boy band Bandits came second in the Belgian National Final 2014 with the song " One"
receiving 90 points from the International Jury and the Belgian public.
Inspired by the Beatles and previosuly taken part in the Belgian
national selection to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Listen to the

 Belgium Eurosong 2014 - Interview with Yass: Opening up the Grand Final of Eurosong 2014 was Yass with the song " Need you tonight"
coming 4th in in the competition. Listen to the interview with the

background.

 Belgium Eurosong 2014 - Interview with Udo: Making it through the Castings and also the Semi Finals into the Grand Final of the Belgian Eurosong 2014 with the song " Hero" is Udo who
ended up at Number 6 in the Grand Final of Eurosong 2014. The Team of
Radio International met the singer in the Press Centre after the show
for an interview. Would he take part again? Find out in listening to

 Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The National Final Season 2014: All
the songs to the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 have been selected and on
Monday, 17 March 2014 was submission deadline date set by the EBU
(European Broadcasting Union). By now all the songs are known. This also
marks the end of the current series. Next week a new feature will
replace The National Final Seaon 2014 where our Radio International
Eurovision Experts will be introducing something new to the show live on
Radio International. But for this week Alasdair Rendal closes
out the National Final Season 2014 with taking a lot at the songs that
were announced and selected by the countries over the past seven days.

 Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in

 New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

Fisher
joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
