Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 - Interview with Pamela: One of Malta's finest voices returned to the national final in Malta - Pamela.
Despite having been out of the competition for the past four years,
Pamela is a veteran of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest with seven
participations to her name; in 2005 with "Play On", in 2006 with "Reaching Out", in 2007 with "All About a Life", in 2008 with "Whispers", in 2009 with "Before You Walk Away" (2nd with Q), in 2010 with "Hold On" and now in 2014 with "Take Me".
For two consecutive years, in 2010 and 2011, Pamela was selected to
accompany the Maltese entry at the Eurovision Song Contest as one of the
backing vocalists, earning rave reviews by the foreign media was her
astonishing vocal range. In Malta, and with Glen Vella, she started the
Animae Gospel Choir, which is made up of some of the nations’ greatest
performers including former Eurovision Song Contest representative -
Debbie Scerri. Pamela is currently a vocal coach and takes care
of several upcoming voices. She is featured on several of the backing
tracks in this years’ Malta Eurovision Song Contest, due to the fact
that she has a special set of capabilities which few have in the
country. Also, she is working with one of the songwriters of "Tomorrow"
on this song, that being Serbian born, Boris Cezek. Pamela achieved a
remarkable 6th place at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and JP
