 This week it is all different as the Team of Radio International is in Malta for the Malta
Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in which the song that will
represent Malta at
the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark come May
2014. (Semi Final 1 on Tuesday, 06 May 2014, Semi Final 2 on Thursday,
08 May 2014 and the Grand Final on Saturday, 10 May 2014).
Public broadcaster PBS kept the same format of the contest as in 2013,
however with four songs less. 20 Semi Finalist compete for the Top 14
places on Friday 07
February 2014. The Top 14 will advance to the Grand Final of the Malta
Eurovision Song Contest 2014 on Saturday,
08 February 2014 coming from the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre
(MFCC) in Ta'Qali in the heart of Malta. The winner will then represent
Malta in Copenhagen at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
To get you already into the mood for the Semi Final on Friday, it is
vital that you listen to this weeks very special edition of Radio
International coming from the MFCC in Malta. JP will present to you all
the 20 songs that are competing for the
ticket to Copenhagen. Also there will be some other highlights during
the
show from previous Maltese National Final shows and Maltese entries to
the Eurovision Song Contest. May the best song win and enjoy the show
with all the 20 contestants and some former Maltese Eurovision nuggets.

joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. However, this week all takes a break and
will return to the usual slot on next week's edition of Radio
International.

Since this week is it a rather special edition of the show live from sunny Malta, the normal formal returns next week with all the usual features when the team is back in the studio.
