Interview with Ryan Dolan (Ireland 2013): Eurovision Club
Germany's annual convention took place last November in Cologne, Germany
with the participation of Linda Martin (Ireland 1984 & 1992),
Natalia Kelly (Austria 2013), Eldar Gasimov (Azerbaijan 2011) and last
but not least Ryan Dolan as invited guests. Ryan Dolan respresented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Only love survives"
which unfortunatley, only reached Number 26 in the Grand Final of the
Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmoe, Sweden. JP met the young Irish
singer during the sound check backstage for an indebt interview which
you can hear on this week's edition of the show.

Interview with Lindsay Dracass (United Kingdom 2001):
Back in 2001 the United Kingdom was represented at the Eurovision Song
Contest by Lindsay D (whereas D stands for Dracass) and the song "No dream impossible"
coming 15th in Copenhagen Parken Stadium. UK Eurovision fans are
regularly organising EUROFEST in the Royal Vauxhall Tavern in London and
the last event was on Friday, 17 January 2014 where Lindsay Dracass
was invited to sing amongst others also her Eurovision entry. Debbie
O'Hare from W12P was on location and had the pleasure to chat with
Lindsay D about her Eurovision Experience and her career development

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The National Final Season 2014: With
a start of a
new quarter that means it is also the start of a new feature on
Eurovision Radio International. In the last quarter of 2013 Radio
International went through the history of Denmark at the Eurovision Song
Contest. And over the Christmas Break the national final season has
officially begun. Like in previous years the Radio International
Eurovision Experts will be assessing the National Finals 2014 live on
Radio International. Dermot Manning starts off with the new season taking a look at the National Finals of Albania and the Ukraine.
Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 - Your Votes Please: As every year Radio International supports the
Malta Eurovision Song Contest in which the Maltese Population and an
International Jury select the most suitable song to represent the
Maltese Islands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen come
May. Like in 2013, pbs uses the same format where this year the national
selection consists of a Semi Final with 20 songs that is narrowed down
to 14 Finalists out of which the Maltese representative to the
Eurovision Song Contest will be selected. Gianluca Bezzina won the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Tomorrow"
which also made it sucessfully to the Final of the Eurovision Song
Contest 2013 in Malmoe, Sweden last May. Who will succeed the Doctor
Gianluca?:)
The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will be televised on Friday, 07
February 2014 (Semi Final) and Saturday, 08 February 2014 (Final) and

pre-voting amongst the fans, listeners and viewers of the weekly
Eurovision radio show. Video clips of all the 20 songs are available online here (as
a quick play list on YouTube and if you want the videos in full length please click here)
and Radio International would like to involve the listeners and
viewers to the weekly show to cast their votes in selecting their
favourite ten songs of the 20 Semi Finalists in Eurovision Voting style
(12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point) and submit their choice to
Radio International by 29 January 2014, 1200 hours CET. For this please find the Voting Form here on MS EXCEL. Alternatively, send your ranked favourite Top 10 songs to Radio International via this the CONTACTS link.
Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. David Mann's been digging deep in his treasure box for this week's Eurovision Cover song. Don't miss it!
New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.

Fisher
joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
