ImageLet's step into Christmas 2013 with Radio International:  Eurovision Radio International never stops and is keen on keeping the music of the Eurovision Song Contest in the ears of the many fans that join the show each and every week via the usual means either via PODCAST, LISTEN AGAIN, live broadcast or Live Stream. Please feel free to submit your requests of Eurovision songs and Radio International is delighted to play your requests during the shows. ImageInterview with Emmelie de Forest (Eurovision Winner 2013, Denmark):  Being a special guest during the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 - Emmelie de Forest from Denmark flew in to Kiev to perform her Winning Song "Only Teardrops" as part of the Interval Act in the show. Just before Emmelie kindly gave a Press Conference where the 12 young contestants asked questions to the reigning chamption of Eurovision followed by a Press Conference for the media. ImageJunior Eurovision Song Contest 2013: Habemus Winner. The 11th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest was staged at Palace of Ukraine in Kiev, Ukraine on 30 November 2013 with a very first victory for the sunny islands of Malta with Gaia Cauchi winning the competition in a thrilling voting with the song "The Start" followed by Ukraine's Sofia Tarasova and the song "We are one" and then third placed entry was Belarus' Ilya Volkov and the song "Poy so mnoy".

Junior Eurovision Song Contest Quiz:

ImageCourtesy of Head of Press of the Maltese Delegation Daniel, Radio International has five CD singles of the Winning Song "The Start" by Gaia Gauchi to give away in a Quiz. The quiz went over two weeks where JP asked ten questions. The Quiz closed on 17 December 2013 and a draw was made during this week's edition of Radio International and five right and successful entries each won and will receive the CD single of the the winning song of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013. The five successful winners of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest Quiz are:  Claus Michael Fasting (Norway), Rafael Vivas (Venezuela), Robert Wahlstroem (Sweden), Steph Parker (South Australia) and Dara Robinson (Australia). 
 
ImageInterview with Michele Perniola (Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013, San Marino): Debuting at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is the tiny state of San Marino surrounded by Italy. Native Italian, 15-year-old Michele Perniola represented San Marino with the song called "O-o-O Sole intorno a me (Sunlight all around me)" ranking San Marino at Number 10 in the Final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Michele has been on stages in the USA and also has been performing together with household names in Italy. For details listen to the interview on this week's edition of Radio International. ImageInterview with Rafael Bobeica (Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013, Moldova): Moldova was represented at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 by young Rafael Bobeica who JP called Young Pavarotti when he heard the boy sing during the interview you can hear on this week's edition of Radio International. ImageInterview with Barbara Popovic (Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013, FYRO Macedonia): The Former Yuguslav Republic of Macedonia was represented at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 by Barabara Popovic with the song "Ohrid I muzika (Ohrid in)" which ranks at Number 12. The Team of Radio International did an interview with the young singer and lovely dancers during a Press Conference session before the show. Image Interview with Vadislav Yakovlev, the Executive Supervisor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013: The European Broadcasting Union has changed responsibilities and staff for their Eurovision Family of events. Previously, Sietse Bakker was the Executive Supervisor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and the the 2012 edition of the show he has handed over this task to Vladislav Yakovlev, while Sietse Bakker fully focusses on the Eurovision Song Contest as Events Manager. Just before the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 went on air the Team of Radio International had the pleasure to speak to the overall responsible person for the show to see how things are going. Radio International had the big pleasure to meet and interview Marek Miil who explains us exactly what a Camera Director does. ImageEurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Denmark's Eurovision Song Contest History:  A new quarter has begun which also marks the start of a new series called Denmark's Eurovision Song Contest History since Denmark for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and with this will be hosting the 2014 edition of the contest in Copenhagen the Team of Radio International thought to continue the tradition to reflect on all the Danish Eurovision entries over the years. Denmark has won the Eurovision Song Contest three time. It was first in 1963 when Grethe and Jorgen Ingmann performed "Dansevise", then the Olson Brothers won in 2000 with the song "Fly on the wings of love" and then in 2013 with Emmelie de Forest and "Only Teardrops". This week Alasdair closes the series looking back at the Eurovision entries from Denmark. The next series our correspondents and experts will be taking on board are the national finals of the various countries selecting their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. 
 
 
   
Image Eurovision UnderCover:  Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the cover. Enjoy the brand new series.  Listeners are encouraged to send in their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. David Mann's been digging deep in his treasure box for this week's Eurovision Cover song. ImageNew Song Releases by Eurovision Artists:  Radio International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs which are being featured on the show.

All you have to do is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year.
