Through the Autumn 2013 with Radio International:  Eurovision Radio International never stops and is keen on keeping the music of the Eurovision Song Contest in the ears of the many fans that join the show each and every week via the usual means either via PODCAST, LISTEN AGAIN, live broadcast or Live Stream. Image Live Interview with Gaia Gauchi (Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 - Malta):  Gaia Cauchi will turn eleven years old on 19 November 2013 and will be representing Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 to be held on 30 November 2013 in Kiev, Ukraine. The song she will perform is called "The Start". Details of the contest are available here . Gaia Gauchi started singing when she was just two and a half years old. The young artist is no stranger to singing contests and talent shows both in Malta and internationally and has received several impressive titles.  Gaia has placed first in the international junior selection at the popular Italian song contest San Remo Junior and consequently she has been honoured with the International Achievement Award at the 2013 Malta Music Awards. But there is more. Gaia has also taken part in the national Italian television talent show called Italian Talent Lab where once again she was crowned the overall winner.  She has also achieved an outstanding success in the Italian television show called Ti Lascio Una Canzone.  During her adventure on the TV show, Gaia sang with famous Italian singers including Alex Britti, Alessandra Amoroso, Little Tony and world renowned Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja.  More recently, Gaia triumphed in the prestigious Italian television show called Una Stella Sta Nascendo.  Her song "Noti u Kliem" was adapted to the Italian language and recorded in Rome. Image Live Interview with AJ Lewis (Switzerland 2014 Pre-selection):  Singer, songwriter, musical artist from London, United Kingdom. AJ has been performing professionally for over ten years. His career started as a lead singer of a soul band over a decade ago. Since then AJ has performed at live events internationally and in musicals in the West End and all over Europe. He has starred in shows such as Thriller Live, Soul Train, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Dancing in the streets, The Official Tribute to the Blues Brothers, Show Boat, Porgy and Bess and Jerry Springer The Opera. He has also released three albums in the Netherlands as a featured singer for the Band Skelley’s Dream and various dance single and compilation album releases for top European DJ’s. Since 2012 AJ Lewis has been on the mission to go to the Eurovision Song Contest. His bid to represent Ireland in Sweden "Life Is Magic" did not make the cut, but was later released as a charity single for chosen charities around the world. Image Presentation of Derek Liontis (Switzerland 2014 Pre-selection):  A large number of songs have been submitted to Swiss TV to start the selection for the song that will represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Radio International has been contacted by a number of the artists and like AJ Lewis, Derek Liontis is in the run for that ticket to Copenhagen with the song "Live without you". ImageEurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Denmark's Eurovision Song Contest History:  A new quarter has begun which also marks the start of a new series called Denmark's Eurovision Song Contest History since Denmark for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and with this will be hosting the 2014 edition of the contest in Copenhagen the Team of Radio International thought to continue the tradition to reflect on all the Danish Eurovision entries over the years. Denmark has won the Eurovision Song Contest three time. It was first in 1963 when Grethe and Jorgen Ingmann performed "Dansevise", then the Olson Brothers won in 2000 with the song "Fly on the wings of love" and then in 2013 with Emmelie de Forest and "Only Teardrops". This week Alasdair Rendall continuous the series looking back at the Eurovision entries from Denmark. 
 
Image Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013:  The 11th and 2013 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be staged at Palace of Ukraine in Kiev, Ukraine on 30 November 2013 after last year's victory of Anastasiya Petryk who won for the Ukraine with the song "Nebo". So far 11 countries have confirmed their participation of young artists from: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Georgia, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Russia, San Marino, Sweden and Ukraine competing for the trophy of the event. Consult the offical event's website Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 for all the latest news concerning the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and also you will also find all detailed information about the young artists. Members of the Team of Radio International will be present at the event and conduct interviews with the young artists which you can hear during the shows around the 04 December 2013. Image Eurovision UnderCover:  Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the cover. Enjoy the brand new series.  Listeners are encouraged to send in their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link. David Mann's been digging deep in his treasure box for this week's Eurovision Cover song. The show is in collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc closer to the fans.
