Through the Autumn 2013 with Radio International: Eurovision Radio
International never stops and is keen on
keeping the music of the Eurovision Song Contest in the ears of the many
fans that join the show each and every week via the usual means either
via PODCAST, LISTEN AGAIN, live broadcast or Live Stream. Please feel

 Interview with Jalisse (Italy 1997) and Launching of "Dove sei": OGAE
Portugal and the Municipality of Setubal in Portugal held their annual
Eurovision Live Concert event on 07 September 2013 with the
participation of many national (Portuguese) and international Eurovision
performers such as Filipa Sousa (Portugal 2012), Liana (FC 2000),
Piedade Fernandes (FC 1993), Vlad Mirita (Romania 2008), Roberto
Bellarosa (Belgium 2013), Buket Bengisu (Turkey 2002), Birgitta Haukdal
(Iceland 2003), Moran Mazor (Israel 2013), Chen Aharoni (NF Israel
2011), etc and and and... Jalisse (Italy 1997) just to mention a
few. Jalisse are Fabio Ricci and Alessandra Drusian and in 1997 won the
San Remo Song Festival and with this the ticket to represent Italy at
the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Fiumi di Parole".
After their amazing 4th place result for Italy in Dublin's Point
Theatre, Italy decided to take a break in participating at the
Eurovision Song Contest, however, we are very happy that in 2011 it was
decided by RAI to return to the contest. Jalisse have been going
strong over the years in Bella Italia and over the years have released
new material. Also in case you did not know they tried to represent San
Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. It coincided that Jalisse
released their brand new song entitled "Dove sei" while at
Eurovision Live Concert in Setubal. A special launch ceremony was held
and members of the Team of Radio International were present to wittness
the launch and of course used the chance for an in-debt-interview with
Alessandra and Fabio right after the launch. This week on the show hear
the interview but also excerpts from the launch of Jalisse's latest
offering "Dove sei". Enjoy!

 Thomas G:son Music Special: Requested by popular demand a lot of
music on the show this week and probably also next week will be from
the hands and brains of Mr. Thomas G:sson who over the years has written
many amazing songs in Sweden for Swedish and non-Swedish music acts.

many of his songs you actually know but did not know that it was written
by Thomas. Robert Wahlstroem from Gothenburg in Sweden had the idea to

 OGAE Luxembourg's Eurovision Gala 2013: Last week Radio International spoke with
Eric Lehmann who is the President of the OGAE (Eurovision Fanclub) of
Luxembourg and together with his team Eric invites the many Eurovision
Fans to Luxembourg for the Eurovision Galanight to take place on

 Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Denmark's Eurovision Song Contest History: A
new quarter has begun which also marks the start of a new series called
Denmark's Eurovision Song Contest History since Denmark for the
Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and with this will be hosting the 2014
edition of the contest in Copenhagen the Team of Radio International
thought to continue the tradition to reflect on all the Danish
Eurovision entries over the years. Denmark has won the Eurovision Song
Contest three time. It was first in 1963 when Grethe and Jorgen Ingmann performed "Dansevise", then the Olson Brothers won in 2000 with the song "Fly on the wings of love" and then in 2013 with Emmelie de Forest and "Only Teardrops". This week Ross Bennett continuous the series looking back at the Eurovision entries from Denmark.
 Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013: The 11th and 2013 edition
of the
Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be staged at Palace of Ukraine in
Kiev, Ukraine on 30 November 2013 after last year's victory of Anastasiya Petryk who won for the Ukraine with the song "Nebo". So far 11 countries have confirmed their participation of young artists from: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Georgia, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine competing

 Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in

 New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show. This week: Valentina Monetta, Alexandr Rybak and SINPLUS.

Fisher
joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
