keeping the music of the Eurovision Song Contest in the ears of the many
fans that join the show each and every week via the usual means either
via PODCAST, LISTEN AGAIN, live broadcast or Live Stream. Please feel

Interview with Maja Keuc (Slovenia 2011) and Jonah Nielson: OGAE
UK hosted their annual EUROBASH 2013 in Manchester with the
participation of many UK Eurovision fans but also fans and journalists
from outside the United Kingdom who arrive to this great event. Special
invited guests for the event were Josh James Dubowie (United Kingdom
2010), Zita Kamiska (Head of Delegation for Latvia) and Maja Keuc. Maja represented her native Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Duesseldorf with the song "No One"
which came lucky Number 13 in the Grand Final of the contest. Originall
hailing from Slovenia's got talent Maja holds currently the record for
the highest number of points that a Slovenian act has received at the
Eurovision Song Contest. Accompanying Maja in the Mini Concert after the
Guest Panel at EUROBASH was Jonah Nielson whose voice is no stranger to
the ears of many Eurovision music lovers as Jonah was the Backing
Vocalist on Danny Saucedo's "Amazing" and "In the Club". Jonah has his own project already for a few years called Dirty Loops details of which you can find here.
Chris & JP of Radio International had the big pleasure to chat with
both Maja and Jonah at EUROBASH 2013 which you can hear on this week's
edition of Radio International.

Interview with Josh James Dubowie (United Kingdom 2010): No stranger to the airwaves of Radio International is Josh Dubowie
who recently underwent rebranding to Josh James. Josh represented the
United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 reach Number 25 with "That sounds good to me".
JP and Chris met the singer at the OGAE UK's EUROBASH 2013 in
Manchester for an update interview which is aired in this week's edition

Interview with Buket Bengisu (Turkey 2002): Early September 2013
OGAE Portugal held their annual Eurovision Live Concert 2013 with the
participation of many Portuguese and International Eurovision
performers. Amongst other OGAE Portugal also invited a great artist from
sunny Turkey - Buket Bengisu who represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 together with the group Safir with the song "Leylaklar Soldu Kalbinde"
which translates to "Lilacs faded in your heart". Back in 2002 and in
Tallin, Estonia, Turkey came 16th. JP chatted with Buket during the
Eurovision Live Concert 2013 in Setubal, Portugal which you can hear

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Denmark's Eurovision Song Contest History: A
new quarter has begun which also marks the start of a new series called
"Denmark's Eurovision Song Contest History" since Denmark for the
Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and with this will be hosting the 2014
edition of the contest in Copenhagen the Team of Radio International
thought to continue the tradition to reflect on all the Danish
Eurovision entries over the years. Denmark has won the Eurovision Song
Contest three time. It was first in 1963 when Grethe and Jorgen Ingmann performed "Dansevise", then the Olson Brothers won in 2000 with the song "Fly on the wings of love" and then in 2013 with Emmelie de Forest and "Only Teardrops". This week Chris Poppe continues the brand new series looking back at the Eurovision entries from Denmark.
Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in

New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show. This week: Ell & Nikki.

Fisher
joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
