A Eurovision Summer Holiday: While most of the team of Radio International is on vacation in a sunny country JP is there to present you two weeks of special programming. The first two hours of this week's show are devoted to the music, the life and career of Mr. Eurovision - Ralph Siegel and also an interview with San Marino's hopeful for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and now also 2014 Valentina Monetta while the third hour this week features the first part of three of the new series "Eurovision meets South Africa".
Next week on the show Eurovision Radio International's JP had the pleasure to meet and interview Jonas Gladnikoff who wrote many great Eurovision songs including Niamh Kavanagh's "It's for you" for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, Hera Bjoerk's "Someday" and many more entries to various national finals with pretty good results. That will be in the first hour next week whereas the second and third hour will feature part 2 and part 3 of "Eurovision meets South Africa" as the series continues.
Interview and more with Ralph Siegel, Mauro Balestri and Valentina Monetta (San Marino 2012, 2013 & 2014): The Team of Radio International were on location in Malmoe at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 which was staged in Sweden. During the two Eurovision weeks 38 out of 39 countries were interviewed but in addition the team had the pleasure to meet and interview Ralph Siegel who is the genius behind many Eurovision entries for many countries. All in All over 2000 songs are registered with the German loyalties company GEMA. Mauro Balestri is the composer of the San Marinese entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and was also part of the interview which together with the music of Ralph Siegel you can hear within the first two hours of this week's edition of Radio International.
Interview with Valentina Monetta (San Marino 2012, 2013 & 2014): Also the team of Radio International had the huge pleasure to chat with Valentina Monetta who is a huge talent and her entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 "Crisalide" reached Number 11 in the Semi Final, thus being the best result achieved by any San Marino Eurovision entry. Ralph Siegel, Mauro Balestri and Valentina Monetta want to try again and this time with that one more step to enter into the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest when Team Valentina Monetta compete again in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Denmark.
Eurovision meets South Africa (Series 5, Part 1 of 3): After the success of the first four series' Radio International is delighted to present to you the
next and fifth series. This is the first of three parts where Radio International broadcasts a series of shows
where you can hear the enthusiasm of South African artists recording
Eurovision Song Contest entries in the Afrikaans language. This truely is

Eurovision Fans aware of this ongoing project and the interest int he
Eurovision Song Contest in South Africa.

to the large number of requests we received and cannot accommodate this
week these requests will be added to the play list for the future
shows. Please note that the shows are
themed and therefore we cannot take requests this and next week but you
can submit your requests anyway via CONTACT and your requests will be played as from
02 October 2013 when Radio International returns to the normal format.
