A Eurovision Summer with Radio International: Eurovision Radio
International does not stop throughout the summer time and is keen on
keeping the music of the Eurovision Song Contest in the ears of the many
fans that join the show each and every week via the usual means either
via PODCAST, LISTEN AGAIN, live broadcast or Live Stream. Please feel
free to submit your requests of Eurovision songs that remind you of
summer and Radio International is delighted to play your requests during

LIVE Interview with Gianluca Bezzina (Malta 2013): After
last week's amazing show with live interviews with Daria Kinzer, Stella
Jones and Eurovision 2013 Host Petra Mede Radio International is
extremely delighted yet again to have Eurovision's Doctor Feelgood live
on the show this week for an interview. Gianluca Bezzina and his team archived a remarkable 8th place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmoe for Malta with the song "Tomorrow". It is very recently that Gianluca has released his album "Waiting for tomorrow"
which also is part of the interview subject on this week's edition of
Radio International when chatting with the artist and you get a little pre-listen to the songs as well. If you like the album you can buy it at this link.
Interview with Lys Assia (Winner 1956, Switzerland 1957 & 1958): 89 year old Grand Dame of the Eurovision Song Contest - Lys Assia
was part of the line up of the Stockholm Pride Eurovision Concert on 01
August 2013 where she performed her winning song of the very first
edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 1956 "Refrain". Lys Assia
or Rosa Mina Schärer has been the first Swiss artist to enter the
Eurovision Song Contest on three consequetive years namely 1956 where
she won, but then returned in 1957 and 1958. The Team of Radio
International was at the concert on Stockholm and had the pleasure to
meet and chat with the Mother of the Eurovision Song Contest. Hear the

Interview Ryan Dolan (Ireland 2013): Also being part of the guest line up of the Stockholm Pride Eurovision Concert was Ireland's Ryan Dolan who with "Only love survives"
represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 reaching Number
26 in the Grand Final in Malmoe earlier on this year. Ryan's album "Frequency"
is doing extremely well in many European countries but also Down Under
in Australia. JP and Eric chatted with the singer at the Concert on his
career after the participation of the Eurovision Song Contest. Listen to
the interview during this week's edition of Radio International. Fans

Interview with Roberto Bellarosa (Belgium 2013): The Kingdom of Belgium was represented by young Roberto Bellarosa at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Love Kills"
which successfully qualified out of Semi Final 1 for the Grand Final
where the song ranked at Number 12. Originating from "The Voice" in
Belgium Roberto was interviewed by JP and Eric at this year's Stockholm
Pride Eurovision Concert in which the singer talks about his career
after the Eurovision Song Contest participation. Also with this
interview we see a new look Roberto (see photo) and listen to the
interview in this week's edition of Radio
International.

Interview with Valentina Monetta (San Marino 2012, 2013, 2014): San Marina is rather new at the Eurovision Song Contest starting to take part in 2008. Valentina Monetta is produced by Germany's Ralph Siegel who at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 wrote "The Social Network Song" and in 2013 together with Mauro Bellestri the fantastic "Crisalide"
that to date is San Marino's best result at the Eurovision Song Contest
reaching Number 11 in the Semi Final in Malmoe. Valentina, Ralph and
Maura are preparing the participation for a third time for 2014. The San
Marinese singer was also part of the Stockholm Pride Eurovision Concert
on 01 August 2013 and the Team of Radio International was delighted to
interview with singer which you can hear on this week's edition of Radio

Interview with Krista Siegfrids (Finland 2013): A bundle of energy from Finland and a lot of fun is this year's Finnish entry to the Eurovision Song Contest - Krista Siegfrids who successfully qualified Finland for the Grand Final in Malmoe and then achieved Number 24 with the song "Marry me".
The Radio International rowing Skandinavian reporter Lilian Brunell met
Krista on the day of the Eurovision Concert being part of the Stockholm
Pride and interviewed the singer. You can hear this funny interview on

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The Favourite Non-Winning Eurovision entries per country: The
Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is over and all our correspondents have
given us their views and favourite songs of this year's contest. So time
to get into the summer 2013 with a brand new series in which our
correspondents in the UK and Ireland look at our favourite non-winning
Eurovision entries per participating country. This week Dermot Manning continues the series with the countries Malta, Moldova, Monaco and Montenegro.
Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in

International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs

joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it all for us during the weekly

such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.

nails at our weekly Eurovision Song Contest Quiz. Good luck and win a
copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD. All you have to do
is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send

the Eurovision Goodies Bag. Good Luck! Due to lack of time towards the end of last week's show there are two draws during this week's edition of the show.
