Interview with Linda Martin (Eurovision Winner 1992, Ireland & Ireland 1984): RTE - the Irish national broadcaster engaged former Eurovision Winner Linda Martin
to be part of the Irish Delegation and represent Ireland in all matters
of media attention in support of Ryan Dolan - Ireland's hopeful for
Eurovision 2013. Linda won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1992 in MALMOE, Sweden with the song "Why me"
written by Johnny Logan who himself won Eurovision in 1980 and 1987.
Before that Linda was the Runner-up of the Eurovision Song Contest 1984
with the song "Terminal 3". JP and Bert had the pleasure to meet
Linda at the Press Centre after a live transmission of Swedish TV and
conducted an interview with the great singer from Ireland. You can hear
this interview on this week's edition of Radio International.

Interview 2 with Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson (Iceland 2013): Iceland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 by Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson from the volcanic island up north. The song is called "Ég Á Líf" and translates to "I have a life"
which qualified Iceland for the Grand Final of the 59th Eurovision Song
Contest and then it ranked at Number 17 with a total of 47 points. JP had the pleasure to meet the singer for a
brief interview and some quick first reaction when he found out Iceland
is qualified for the Grand Final. Listen to the interview
during this week's edition of the show.

Interview with Ilias of Koza Mostra (Greece 2013): A
couple of hours before the Grand Final kicked off JP of Radio
International disguised as a German Cleaner dusting off the Greek Singer
Ilias in the Press Centre. What was thought to be a little sketch ended
up to be a brief interview with the Ilias, the lead singer of Koza Mostra
who was checking his email for good luck wishes from Greece. Check out
this fun interview with JP alias the German Cleaner in the Press Centre
of Malmoe. Greece reached Numbe 6 in the Grand Final of the Eurovision
with the song "Alcohol is free".

the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 at their hotel in Malmoe for an
interview. Check out what the two ladies are up to by listening to the

Interview with Margaret Berger (Norway 2013): Norway's ambassador to the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 was Margaret Berger who represented the kingdom with the song "I feed you my love"
which came 4th in the Grand Final. Simon from Polish Radio conducted a
short interview with the Norwegian Hopeful and kindly submitted an
interview with the singer for broadcast on this week's edition of Radio
International.
Interview with PeR (Latvia 2013): Latvia was represented by PeR (Please Explain Rhytm) with a kind of Britpop sounding song called "Here we go"
which kicked off Semi Final 2 of the Eurovision Song Contest
2013. Unfortunately, Latvia did not gain enough points in their Semi
Final to qualify for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest
2013. Disappointingly the song only reached Number 17 in their Semi
Final, however, they are a great bunch of Party Boys and rocked the
Euroclub. Radio International previously aired an interview with PeR
courtesy of David Mann when he met the singers as the London Pre-View
party. Now find out more about the singers by listening to a second
interview done in Malmoe.
