During Radio International this week listen to some more first reactions of the Finalists from the Winners'
Press Conferences of Semi Final 1 and 2. Quick chats with the lucky qualifiers
plus some fan reactions before the shows courtesy of David Mann who was
the roving reporter in front of the Malmoe Arena just before the start
of the shows. Watch out - it could be YOU being aired on Radio
International this week. David has also been out and out backstage and in the Press Centre
reporting from there. Listen to it throughout the shows.
Welcome Reception & Red Carpet Interviews: Every year at
the Eurovision Song Contest the host city organises a Welcome Reception
and Opening Ceremony which can be watched by the fans and local people
and the many journalists and reporters covering the Eurovision Song
Contest for their media. There are
clips from the Red Carpet event where JP and Philip from eurovisiOradio
had the pleasure to co-interview some of the singers of this year's
Eurovision Song Contest. Throughout the upcoming editions of Radio
International the clips will be injected into the show for your
listening pleasure. This
week listen to some small interview clips with Ukrine's Giant Igor, Switzerland's Emil who is with 94 years the oldest member that every stood on the Eurovision stage amongst others. Just stay tuned to find out.
Interview with Nodi & Sopho & Thomas G:sson (Georgia 2013): Tipped to be one of the fans' favourites to win Eurovision 2013 Georgia was represented by Sopho and Nodi with a song called "Waterfall" penned by the same composer that wrote the winning song of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012: Loreen's "Euphoria" - Thomas G:sson from Sweden. Though the Swedish vitamin B did not help for a Georgian Victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 as "Waterfall"
only reached at Number 15 in the Grand Final in the Malmoe Arena. The
Team of Radio International had the big pleasure to meet the singers and
the composer for an interview which you will hear in this week's
edition of Radio International.

Interview with Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankoulov (Bulgaria 2007 & 2013): Returning to the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest after their Number 5 achievement back in 2007, Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankoulov represented Bulgaria for a second time at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Sama Shampioni"
which reached only Number 12 in Semi Final two when only the Top 10
countries advance to the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Elitsa and Stoyan had a huge success in 2007 at the Eurovision Song
Contest when their entry "Water" reached Number 5 and thus was
the only time Bulgaria was in the Grand Final of the contest. Listen to

superstars from Bulgaria.

Interview with Takasa (Ex Heilsarmee)(Switzerland 2013):
Switzerland was one of the first countries selecting their entry to the
Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with a band called Heilsarmee (Salvation
Army) who according to EBU rules had to change their name in order to
participate at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. The band's name was
changed to TAKASA however, the song remained to be "You and me"
and competed in Semi Final 2 in which unfortunately Switzerland only
archieved Number 13 when only the Top Ten advance to the Grand Final.
Our roving reporter from Scandinavia - Lilian Brunell had the
opportunity to meet all of the members of the band in their hotel in
Malmoe and did an interview which
you can hear during this week's edition of Radio International.

Joining us this week live on the show are the organisers of the
Eurovision Weekend in Berlin to take place from Friday 19 - Sunday 21
July 2013. Salman Tazem and colleagues will be telling us all about the

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The Favourite Non-Winning Eurovision entries per country: The
Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is over and all our correspondents have
given us their views and favourite songs of this year's contest. So time
to get into the summer 2013 with a brand new series in which our
correspondents in the UK and Ireland look at our favourite non-winning
Eurovision entries per participating country. This week Chris Poppe continues the series with the countries B and C.
Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the

International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
