 Eurovision Song Contest 2013 - The Post Eurovision Depression Cure - Another Dose: Over

During Radio International this week listen to some more first reactions of the Finalists from the Winners'
Press Conferences of Semi Final 1 and 2. Quick chats with the lucky qualifiers
plus some fan reactions before the shows courtesy of David Mann who was
the roving reporter in front of the Malmoe Arena just before the start
of the shows. Watch out - it could be YOU being aired on Radio
International this week. David has also been out and out backstage and in the Press Centre
reporting from there. Listen to it throughout the shows.
Welcome Reception & Red Carpet Interviews: Also there are
clips from the Red Carpet event where JP and Philip from eurovisiOradio
had the pleasure to co-interview some of the singers of this year's
Eurovision Song Contest. Throughout the upcoming editions of Radio
International the clips will be injected into the show for your
listening pleasure.
 Interview with Emmelie de Forest (Denmark 2013 Eurovision Winner): Congratulations once again go to Emmelie de Forest from Denmark who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Only Teardrops".
Denmark
received a total amount of 281 points when the Eurovision Song Contest
2013 was staged in the Malmoe Arena on 18 May 2013. Juries and
Televoters of 38 countries voted for "Only Teardrops" to be
Europe's most popular song of 2013 and with this victory Denmark also
earned the right to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The
preliminary date has been set to 17 May 2014. David Mann had the
pleasure to chat with Emmelie de Forest before her victory. Listen to the interview during the week's edition of Radio International.
 Interview with Marco Mengoni (Italy 2013): The Winner of the San
Remo Song Festival represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest
2013 with the song "L'essenziale" which ranked at Number 7 in the Grand
Final. Italy as well as France, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom as well
as the host country are automatically qualified for the Grand Final and
thus do not need to go through the Semi Finals. JP and Philip from
eurovisiOradio.eu interviewed some of the artists at the Red Carpet of
the Welcome Reception in Malmoe and Marco gave us an interesting
interview which you can hear in this week's edition of the show.
 Interview with Anouk (Netherlands 2013): The Netherlands were represented at the Eurovision 2013 by superstar Anouk who after nine years successfully qualified the Netherlands for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Birds"
which received 114 points and with this a 9th place in the Grand Final.
The Netherlands had not qualified for nine years last time being with Reunion and "Without You"
at the the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul. The Team of Radio
International had the big honour to meet Anouk for a quick chat at the
Meet and Greet in the Euroclub of Malmoe. Listen to this chat during

 Interview with Hannah Manccini (Sloveniva 2013): Also being
interviewed at the Red Carpet event was Hannah from Slovenia who
represented her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the
song "Straight into love" which unfortunately ended up at Number 16 in
Semi Final 1 of the contest. Hannah has a very interesting background
originating from the USA thus when listening to the interview you have
an American accent from Hannah. Another interview with Hannah was done
in the Press Centre of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 which Radio
International will air at a later date. You can watch this interview also on our YouTube Channel - click here  Interview with Andrius Pojavis (Lithuania 2013): For the third time in a row Lithuania managed to qualify for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest with Andrius Pojavis and the song "Something" reaching Number 22 after the great success of 2012 when Donny Montell's "Love is blind" ranked 14th in the Final in Baku and Evelina Sasenko's "C'est ma vie"
from 2011 which ranked at Number 19. JP and Philip met the singer at
the Red Carpet event in Malmoe for a quick chat which Radio
International airs on this week's edition of the show.
 Interview with Moje 3 (Serbia 2013): Serbia was
represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 by Moje 3 who won
BEOSONG with the song "Ljubav je svuda" reaching Number 11 in Semi Final
1 of the contest sadly not qualifying Serbia for the Grand Final which
is is the second time in the history of Serbia's participation at
the Eurovision Song Contest that the country did not qualify for the
Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest following Marko Kon &
Milan Nikolic with the song "Cipela" back in 2009. Only the Top 10
qualify for the Grand Final. Moje 3 were supported by former Winner of
the Eurovosion Song Contest 2007 - Marija Serifovic and the Team of
Radio International had the pleasure of interviewing the three ladies of
Moje 3 which you will be able to hear on this week's edition of Radio
International.

 Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - The Favourite Non-Winning Eurovision entries per country: The
Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is over and all our correspondents have
given us their views and favourite songs of this year's contest. So time
to get into the summer 2013 with a brand new series in which our
correspondents in the UK and Ireland look at our favourite non-winning
Eurovision entries per participating country. This week Ross Bennett starts the series with the countries A and B.
 Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision Norwich
will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in

 New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show. This week new songs by Emmelie de Forest, Senit, Gianluca Bezzina, Eldar Gasimov and Ani Lorak. Eurovision Song Contest News: Luke

joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news
and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special
concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it all for us during the weekly
edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics
such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
